Kaiji to his gambling buddy Endou as they're on the verge of losing a match in which defeat means they get sent to an underground labour camp for the rest of their lives. That speech is Kaiji's way of apologising to Endou for getting them both involved in a gambling match against a corrupt corporation. The bromance between them in that scene is amazing. <3
