They should do one more entry into this series, maybe address some of the issues that people had, and see how well it sells. THEN they can make the decision to continue.....the thing is, i doubt they are going to go back to old Dante. As much as people say they want it its unlikely that they will be returning to original series. They would have made DMC5 if they were interested in that. They would have let Ninja Theory use a version of old Dante if they were interested in that....if this doesn't do well the series is probably dead.

The gameplay was mediocre,not so very much solid. Seeing as enemy step was beyond rushed,glitches with air gain and color coded enemies were in there,
Other than that,you're probably right. The gameplay was passable for playable though.

-replayability
these are all the factors of a good game, an 82/100=GOOD GAME, not great, but good, so no, they weren't overly praising it because they knew what bioware was going for, they knew what to expect, and they graded it accordingly instead of being completely subjective by saying
"DERP, NOT A CLONE OF DRAGON AGE 1, THEREFORE IT SUCKS, DERP" this isn't how you do a good review and until you realize that you will never be able to be taken seriously by gaming journalists, robert cram is a good example of someone who frequently gets annoyed at people who have never taken a journalism class pretending like they can objectively critique something in a critical way, and i'm sure in your mind you think you are being objective all the time but I can tell you, that its not true

I just think that it's funny that one of the loudest defenders of DmC is also a proud defender of Dragon Age 2. He might as well start praising Superman 64. But I suppose I should stop discussing DA2's (lack of) merits beyond just mentioning it, this is not a Bioware fan forum after all.
