Do you think Ninja Theory/Capcom is REALLY worried about sales?

Is NT/Capcom worried about the upcoming sales of DmC?

I dunno, maybe after all the trolling he's got, he can't tell if people are being genuine or setting him up for more trolling.
Some of the people were asking for it though. There's only so much a guy can take, and it's not like he's cussed at any of them.
True but someone people were just simply asking questions I don't personally like Tameem but there's only so much a guy can take.

It's not often that I would say Capcom has handled the situation well, but I will in regards to this case.

He's just a guy,I've got no real opinion one him- don't know him, but unfortunately he's been put in the spotlight for this game, so he's the one trolls are going to go to. It's bound to get to a guy, especially when he designed the game.
I do feel sorry however for anyone being genuine and then getting a mean response.

That seems alittle excessive but some tweets i've seen where he kinda , I wouldn't say goes off, but is pretty rude to some people just asking questions and yeah when people just rage out on him. I would give links to the messages but i can't find them anywhere

So I hope you can somewhat believe me when I say I'm not making this up. :'(

Yeah right...:shifty:

I remember a tweet he posted to a mad fanboy who was constantly trolling him about how the rake move was to easy to do, and being an ass to Tameen about it. So Tameen said;

"We also don't have a style that allows you to face palm your face till it bleeds."

Plus there's my favorite quote he made;

"I don't see what's so special about Halloween, I see trolls everyday."
lmao that just made my day, and i had a pretty good day. Too bad Tameem cant be president.

People need to remember that reviews don't sell games, at least in this genre. Bayonetta is proof of this. That game has gotten AMAZING reviews and is praised by many as a great game but the sells didn't match the hype for it. It only sold about 1.5 million compared to DMC4's 2.7. I remember that game at first got a lot of hate as well(not nearly as much as this game though) but over time after it was released people started to love the game a lot. DMC4 sold more even though its reviews were not as good as Bayonetta's and people complained a lot about different matters of the game.

Those conditions don't necessarily apply to DmC. Bayonetta was a completely new game out of a fresh franchise. DmC is a reboot of an already popular franchise that has sold 12 million copies. It has already a set fanbase ready to buy it (this includes people against it as well). Also, it has garnered fresh appeal to the mass gaming community. Add to the fact that Capcom is leaving no stone unturned in promoting this.

In a way it's completely complementing The Amazing Spider-man movie -

  • Reboot for the franchise takes place in a darker , grittier version. - Check.
  • Creative control given to people with great artistic direction but little experience in the field that the product specializes in.-Check.
  • Main character is an outcast, a rebel in his own rights. - Check.
  • The character shows glimpse of what he is to become. - Check.
  • Main character receives flak for being "emo". - Check.
  • Outrage against the reboot. - Check.
  • Reboot actually concentrates on the background of Main character and parents. - Check.
  • Their production companies go berserk trying to market the product. - Check.

There are many more. And despite all that... The Amazing Spider-man still went on to make 750+ million dollars. Biggest earning so far for a reboot.

DmC seems like it's going down the same line. The reviews are just going to give it the leverage it needs.

I dont get it, is he trying to say he doesnt like this Dante?

I think he does like the new Dante, but it seems he is tired of people tweeting him about the series. He only did the first game and nothing else regarding the series.

That's probably why he tweeted like that, lol. People complain about Tameem, but Kamiya basically told the guy to tell his mom, the new Dante is cool, lol.

but Kamiya basically told the guy to tell his mom, the new Dante is cool,
Kinda like 'I don't want to know about it, so tell your Mom because she's the only person who cares about what you say'. That kind of vibe, right?

It's more a "I don't wann'a hear about it, F off!" vibe that I get, Kamiya's been rather raging toward anything to do with DMC since what happened with DMC2 being handed off to Prod team 1 behind his back after DMC1's release.

your close the person posted to him "the new dante is cool ^^" so he responded "thats good go tell your mom or capcom that the new dante is cool." so yeah he was basically going "congrats for thinking so I personally happen to not give a ****"
