DmC's offical sales now

I'm more surprised at the fact it sold so much now.
Not I. PS+ provably helped. People think that when something goes on sale it wouldn't sell after that but it seems numbers get a boost after a title goes on sale and even after.

YOU FOR REAL, DUDE?!
Imagine the fun you could have with that many enemies and Vergil's just charge moves....

You know, I see people always wish that DMD was harder, I don't think Dante Must Die needs to be changed at all. The mods and stuff I play with that should jsut be optional stuff for people to have fun with. The game is balanced really well as it is, making it too defense focused would ruin the overall game design, which is about getting better at doing combos and increasing your overall score.

The only thing I'd suggest is the 20% Turbo boost (options for 25%/30% as well) with the default difficulty set up, and some modification on how weapons affect colored enemies (ie Only proper weapons damage them at 100%, while all others damage them at 50% and do not cause them to stagger, maybe they even make them devil trigger faster). I'd also debuff some of the damage boosts on Dante Must Die to 75% of their normal versions. Other then that, the game is fine as it is. I notice a lot that people that request higher difficulties don't themselves play them, I don't really get this honestly. I like playing games on a higher level, and I don't want the game to be frustratingly hard. I like the balance between me just trying to get better and the game giving me some good strategic encounters. Hell, if you play DmC with the idea in mind that you shouldn't ever take damage, then its already as hard as it needs to be for 99% of players.

Honestly, if people saw how difficult fighting that many dreamrunners is, they'd be like fux this. It is indeed cool to try out, so like I said, custom wave options and **** like that would be awesome to see coded into the main game. So you could just set up crazy waves and send them to friends to try out.

I'm just glad DmC is still selling, regardless of the other figures. It means that people do want to give the game a try.

I wouldn't say it like that. People are interested in the game because its a game. Most of them are probably new to the franchise and are playing DmC with a casual interest.

Vergil's charge moves unfortunately don't work on Dreamrunners :D.

Is that from modding a DR into VD or Vergil into BP? His JC moves stagger everything - even DT enemies. If it doesn't work in BP it's probably because fighting DRs wasn't thought of when they made his move set, I'm sure they'd correct that if they made a SE version.

WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON THERE?

Was pleasantly surprised when I first saw this. I figured the Oct-Dec quarter would push the numbers up to 1.25, or possibly just scratch 1.3. So that means DmC outsold DMC3 in both first year sales and Original DMC3's lifetime sales. Little victories, right guys? I might be stretching this, but DmC could then beat out DMC 2's life-time sales by the end of this year!
And for reference for those unaware:
DMC 4: 2.9
DMC 3 (Original + SE): 2.3
DMC: 2.16
DMC2: 1.7
DmC: 1.4
DMC 3: 1.3

(From Capcom's Updated "Platinum Titles" Listing)

Am I the the only one that finds this statement revolting? I may not be the bigest DmC soporter but I find the prospect of it selling half as well as Operation Raccoon City down right bull$#¡t.
Yeah, tis' a shame. But since, RE is a brand well known enough that (like other series like Final Fantasy) slapping the brand name on the box will guarantee to make the budget back and then-some. Them's the breaks...

I would like to point out that DmC is on both PS3 and Xbox 360 while DM1-3 were only on the PS2.

Just saying.....

Although I think DMC3 was eventually released on PC?

In all fairness DMC4 was the highest selling of the whole and it provably had the fact that it was multi to thank for that. DmC is selling at new IP numbers, so for a new IP I guess it's doing well.
