DMC4 Vergil

I do hope you all realize this is Super Vergil. Super variants of DMC4 characters always use their unique gameplay abilities as if they were maximum (Dante unlimited royal gauge, chaos gauge, DT)(Nero with unlimited DT and Exceed). What you saw in today's gameplay video is Vergil with unlimited Devil Trigger and all of his special moves are powered as they would be with maximum "Concentration".

Look no further than RapidSlash, there is no way they would allow such Crowd control under normal circumstances, I expect a much more normal one at lower concentration. His DT in this gameplay video doesn't decrease, that one screen clearing move in the trailer was confirmed to only be usable at maximum concentration (the blue gauge above his health) whereas both uses in this gameplay were at about 2/3rds and they didn't even cost all concentration. The changing concentration gauge in the gameplay video was purely cosmetic.

The real Vergil will definitely be more balanced.

Yes that is Super Vergil but he did not have his moves as if he had max Concentration all the time. The guy was building and losing gauge all the time in fact. He didn't even have full Concentration when he performed the super move.

The concentration level was at 3 though, both times they did the move. He also had an S rank in style.

That is the sickest.

Though, that isn't to say Berial didn't encounter Vergil in the Demon World.
It's possible, but considering Vergil was enslaved right after his battle with Dante in DMC3, and then turned into Nelo Angelo, I doubt Berial ever met Vergil in his normal form. It's possible he met Vergil as Nelo Angelo, but considering there's multiple stages of hell - and Berial is supposedly the leader of the Fire Hell - it's possible Berial never even met Mundus or Nelo Angelo. Even if he did, how should he know Nelo Angelo was once Vergil (a half-human)? How should he know Nero is just like Nelo Angelo? After all, he can't see Vergil's face or body because it's encased in armor.

So I would assume Berial was referring to Sparda. It also seems likely because Sparda was masquerading as a human (he had a human form), which is comparable to Nero... Nero is concealing his demonic power and in Berial's eyes, that means he masquerades as a human.
