DmC USA special edition?

Gamestop is only in Northern Ireland and they're not really.....U.K(ish) But for £55! EFF OFF MATE. Games are around £40. Pfft, crazy prices at Gamestop it seems.

No it's very accurate actually. NT hate Americans, see.

The fact you just told told me you're American angers Me. Like. I'm figuratively(not literally) BURNING with anger right. Like, I'm ABLAZE IN MY DESK CHAIR. RAAAR! AMERICANS!
well, at least you didn't call me a fat ameri****

It's a UK based developer. The UK hates America with a flaming passion and it does not surprise me that they would do something of this sort. Well, from what I know alot hate americans. But I dont understand why...the UK gets better looking video game cases as far as design goes. We usually get disgruntled men giving a dirty look while in some sort of assault stance.

It really is lame how our cases get designed. I could be wrong and be deceived over UK hating us alot, but really from all the people that I have met in the UK over live it leads me to believe otherwise.

Tells you how reliable my sources are XD

Im English & some of my best friends are from all over America, so would be narrowminded to think that everyone in the UK hates America. Most people in the UK hate the English (Scottish, Irish & Welsh hate the English more than anyone). Most of our politicians in England kiss America's ass on a daily basis however its the general attitude that for some reason you deserve to get better things or for some reason deserve more than everyone else that people dislike.

For years we have accepted inferior products and stripped down packages from games companies for double the price as everywhere else & America exclusive offers that never see light of day here, its about time we got some rewards for still buying some companies products. Also lots of times ive preferred the covers on the NTSC versions of games over the PAL versions but its a cover & doesnt affect the quality of the actual game.

Like I said, I have only dealt with people from the UK over xbox live. I wasn't being serious at all, just to let you know. I'm very lax on things and I don't like to cause fights. So if you were insulted by my post I apologize for the misunderstanding and hope you can look past it. Bygones be bygones and such.

 im not insulted by anything and if I listened to anything on Xbox Live id have lost all faith in the intelligence of humanity by now. I tend to mute everyone or go into Party Chat on nearly every game.

I tend to avoid multiplayer games at all costs.

which is why one multiplayer game gave me 30 bucks towards DmC :D

I play Multiplayer but mainly stick to parties as I said and only chat to friends rather than randoms. Only so many 12 year olds screeching obsenities that they dont understand down the mic before I get bored. Ive even resorted to party chat with friends who arent even playing the same game as me to avoid speaking to people in the lobbies.

The rest of your post is irrelevant, ha. I've seen and heard what's said over Halo and CoD so....but I don't play those. Only "random stranger" multiplayer games I play is Fighting Games and those aren't really for talking.

Still....burning with anger!

Actually, Europe has a tradition of getting better exclusives than the Americas, and it's mostly because America doesn't have to take time to get it localized into several different languages like Europe does, and so for having to wait longer, they get nifty special editions that we don't. Sometimes even if we all get Special Editions, Europe gets a greater one :/
Huh, we do? Never noticed that! :O Got any examples? (Not doubting you, just curious :3)
The necklace that's being sold separately at the Capcom-Unity store is of much better quality that the one you'll get in SoS Edition, apparently.
I've heard this a couple of times, but was that actually stated anywhere? Because, like, the GameStop magazine thingy said that the SoS neclace is mad from real leather and some kinda resin crystal (idk if that's really what you call it in English, thoug (>.>); ) and that doesn't really sound like poor quality to me, but, uh, I don't really know about such things unfortunately...

Aaaaaand on a side not, the SoS edition seems to be available for all European countries (+ Australia) that have GameStop or one of those other shops that seem to have to do with GS (EBGames and Micromania).
And it's 10 Euros extra, whereas pre-ordering DmC from the Capcom Store let's you get the nacklace for free, so cheer up guys! At least you're getting free stuff :P

More recently Europe got a much better Uncharted 2 collector's edition, and Dissidia[012] got a huge collector's edition while we got nothing but the game :( Hell, you guys got Shinobido on PS2, and we didn't get it at all, and that game is fantastic.

Turning this into some sort of war over who should get the best edition is dumb. So let's focus on facts... like the game being targeted to a more western audience and Japan getting one of the best limited editions I think I've seen in a while for a video game :troll:

I'm in the US btw, and it's not like I want more than what everyone else is getting, I just want something. So far all they are giving is the standard game with the bonus DLCs which is stuff every game does now for pre-orders so, to me, that's like just buying the regular game. I really wanted the US to put together some little cool package but apparently that's not happening.

I really don't care at this point if we do get a special edition. I would think it's awesome, but I really don't feel the need to spend extra money when I can find the SE soundtrack on youtube in a few days after release and any props that come with the SE will be on ebay in the same amount of time, giving me time to save up for it and just buy it if I REALLY want it. But I doubt I will. The amulet is awesome, don't get me wrong. But I really have never felt the need to buy any higher edition of any game for the collectibles. When you live with a terrifying 12 year old that will break anything he touches and not get punished for it, you really just learn to do without anyways. Needless to say I put a house lock on me and my wife's bedroom door and it now requires a key to get in whenever we aren't inside it or we are out of the house.

Kind of creepy when I wake up in the morning and my xbox is on and it was off when I went to sleep. Same goes for my ps3 some mornings. So I got tired of it (I take really good care of my consoles and make sure not to overheat them at all by leaving them on for too long) and installed a lock on our door. Guess what? no more instances of my xbox being on.

OR missing underwear from my drawer. OR missing clothes in general from my wardrobe. That's how terrible he is. Getting a lock was probably one of the best decisions I could have made.

Exactly. I don't want the U.S. edition to be better than everyone else's, I just want it to be AS GOOD as everyone else's.

Your child rack-a disciprine!

But yeah, I'm sorta happy that there aren't any more super-awesome special editions that I need. MGR has one, but I don't need a lamp I'll never use. Ni no Kuni has an awesome one that I'm getting for my girlfriend from their official website, but otherwise I'm just getting the normal edition. I'm fortunate that there aren't many games coming out in a while that I really want to get WATCH_DOGS being the only in the future I want, that has no release date yet. Makes it easier for me to save up coin so I can move out of the miserable town in this miserable country and be with my girl.

It's funny when you can be happy your hobby isn't costing you a lot of money >_<

I want the MGR Special Edition literally just for the Grey Fox skin. Dear god I can't imagine Grey Fox in HD.
It's going to be a wonderful experience for me.

He's not my child thank God.

One thing I was thinking of is the fact that it's probably Capcom that decides who gets a special edition, and what's included. Not NT, in this case. And since Japan is the main country getting something that can really be considered a special edition, that makes it even more obvious. Basically I'm saying that they're catering to their own country and giving everyone else less. They don't seem to think very highly of anyone outside of Japan, but I could be wrong.

As for what Americans can get by pre-ordering from the Capcom store, isn't that pretty much the same as the European special edition?
