DmC Official Demo Thread

In my area, costal California, it's usually the mid day, 11 am to 3 at the latest. If we assume that all of the US does it at the same time regardless of time zone and at best it'll be up a 11am that leaves 35 hours at least for the US region.

Nice calculating berto, let's hope that's accurate.

When the DMC4 demo came out I remember they wouldn't update PSN on time so I had to wait.

THe day that Bayonetta's demo was reeased the demo was on time but I didn't have the patience so I went to the Japan PSN and when I saw it wasn't there I did a search for it and there it was.

So I recomend that if you can't see it on the store try the search engine and see if it comes up. That worked once might again.

Man... That's actually not too different from how I played that section... Ididn't take that long but I did fall ALOT.

Damn I now have a problem of which system to get it on, 360 or PS3...I love them both..oh problem is solve will get the demo on both so it will be like two early gifts or a time saver when I am to lazy to turn one on while the other is close. xD

I remember that video. People tried to use it to claim that DmC would suck, when the description really just tells you that the person playing sucks at it :p

Looks harder then we thought :troll:
I felt quite exhausted when I finished that place. It is actually hard on your first try.
BTW. Dante will make numerous reactions when you're near a ledge. It's quite fun to look carefully at this game.

I remember seeing in one of Gregaman's streams where Dante did Angel Glide next to a wall, and he put his hand on it, letting it slide across as he moved. There's a lot of little animations in the game that are kinda cool to see.

Aside from changing limbo, Dante himself also offers quite a lot of reactions and fun.
He sorts of gets wobbly when in unstable ground, shields himself from flying debris, hanging on ledges.
Well...it's a pity his taunting system has gone, but I find him taunting or making comments during any fight as well.

Yeah, the spirit of taunting is still there, but the mechanic isn't. That's actually one of the only things that I'm sad they took out.

I understand taking it away for narrative reasons, but if he already says things during battle, it would have been nice if they just crafted his taunts to be narrative specific - I can think of several ways it could have been done, and it would still let the player get magic and Style boosts.

Oh well, it's a minor thing though, especially with how powerful DT is now, being able to taunt and gain back so much magic would have been a little broken :p

I'm just concerned if we have DT powered attacks like in 4 like DT stinger...well I noticed that stomp's radius becomes a bit wider, but nothing else.
