DmC Multiplayer Idea

I don't think PVP could work without substantial reworking of combat systems, but maybe, it would be fun. I did enjoy it in Dark Souls even if it was pretty much best gear + parrying skills + (this dude has a trainer, **** I'm dead). :P

like i said DMCs own gameplay is the reason why pvp wouldn't really work imagine being stopped in a move you can't recover from? you'll be seeing alot of rage quitting

every should report him, annoying as hell that passive agressive trolling is overlooked

Its not overlooked its all noted & we are keeping an eye on people like this closely dont worry. People could simply add members like this to their ignore list secretly & they would simply be talking to themselves before the staff intervene.

The only kind of multiplayer I would ever want to see is co-op. It would be badass to have two Dante's fighting along side each other.
Other than that, I don't really think anything else would fit DMC imo.

I wonder when people will realize, you just can't be a troll on this si-

Wait a minute....

The infinite Bloody Palace and make-your-own arena ideas would be good for both co-op and single player, honestly... I once had an idea for a DMC sequel that had a level creator, and you'd get enemy and environment "packs" from throughout the series as you went through the campaign.

Ever heard of Fun.rar?

It's...Fun.

But I'm agreeing with you. Single player games aren't what the cool kids like nowadays, tacked on multiplayer is. I believe every game should take some resources from its single player content to make sure they add a halfassed multiplayer component.
Warning added.

We all know by now how you feel about the game so there's really no need to trawl the DmC section and slam into every positive thread with some rather thinly-disguised ire. Get over it already or else learn how to articulate yourself with a little more decorum and finesse.

Carry on, everyone.

Like I said...Fun.

(Ignore the previous video,my friend confused me.)

Uhm,It's on PC only. obviously, console cant run so much fun.
(By no means to offend anyone.)
And there are people who are bold enough to actually go out and do it.

so why mention it period? if it can;t be done on consoles and its only a mod on PC then it's not very plausible as a multiplayer idea or is just plain off topic

Because he mentioned adding a level editor for BP. And I wanted to show him what would happen should it be the case. And DMC4 is a great example of that.

I doubt anyone will actually read this, but I guess there is no harm in me trying. So, here is my idea as a PC player of DmC for Multiplayer.
DmC Multiplayer Mode
- 2 vs 2 teams or 1 vs 1 (so, two teams of Dante/Vergil, yes I'm talking about adding co-op, I'd pay for it, and I believe many others would also).
- 1 Minute Horde Mode Rounds in a Bloody Palace type Arena.
- Each team gets 60 seconds in this horde mode to obtain the most style points.
- At the very least, spectating must be allowed for both teams: whenever one team is playing, the other team must be able to watch.
- At the end of each round, the team with the highest style score wins.
- Videos can be recorded. + direct upload capabilities to youtube or other streaming websites like Twitch.tv would be a huge plus. (tons of free publicity)
Additional Suggestions to make mode even better:
- Several pre-made ranked modes of varying difficulties made by Ninja Theory.
- Custom Unranked Matches where the host can adjust game variables: enemy types, time limits, number of rounds, difficulty, etc.
- A regular bloody palace for 2 players. Make it ranked.
- An infinite bloody place for 2 players, see how long you can last. Make it ranked.

What you guys think, wouldn't this be awesome? Can you imagine the combo possibilities of a vergil/dante team.

Mate that sounds preety awsum to me. My fav character is dante whilst my twin brother likes vergil. Weed defo buy 2 copies of that to play online togeafher .

DMC4 on pc is a great example on that. But then it might not be so great since jt's only a mod and its o pc which means it wasn't held back by hardware, hence why its not so great as an example. Which brings me back to what i said earlier it sounds good on paper but it's not likely to work.

Now there could be limits in place to make easier to handle but if you want no limits forget about it now. If you ask why its not going to work its very simple really. The engine, hardware, is not going to be able to support so many things going on at once.

But it's not like it doesn't count JUST because the console version wont support it..PC still counts.
And one of the main things that make PC so great is that hardware is usually not an issue, not 100% of the time, but most of the time.

That doesn't necessarily mean it's not fun because its good on paper. some people do genuinely enjoy this kind of "Fun".
I don't mind if they limited it on console, but is there really a reason to limit it on PC when you really don't have to?

Thinking about level editors.... makes me think about Hunted: The Demons Forge.
It's also on UE3 and it has something like that, a survival mode in which you can create waves of enemies with given set pieces. It was pretty fun in co-op.
