I guess I only just use Angel/Demon whip if I need to. I hardly use it unless I want to do a kicker, or punch.

However you choose to fight is fine. That's the point of DmCDE, imo.

But I think he meant he doesn't use them as a sort of self imposed challenge, or to avoid any possible exploit like the one I mentioned.

Well, I think you sort of have to fight as furiously (and stylishly) as possible in the other games.

Here, you can turn off some of the modifiers if you don't feel like doing that. Just my opinion.

That's always been a thing in Devil May Cry. Wether you wanna fight efficiently or stylishly, or a combination of both, the games allow you to.

Obviously all the games put the emphasis on style cause that's the genre they belong to. But you can always explore other ways. Heck, I've been doing it for years, till I decided I was gonna delve deeper into stylish combat LOL
