DmC antis, so lemme get this staight, (spoilers)

I mean, his character displayed smaller hints of ruthlessness before, that it was easy to let slide because it wasn't too bad, but what Vergil did to Lilith was so "lol whut" that it should have had a much bigger splash.

A) That was hysterical.

B) Like I said, what I wanted was a brief conversation wherein Dante confronted Vergil, and there was plenty of time after they got away. That's not melodrama, that's tying up a loose end. I mean, does it make sense for Dante, who said himself that he had trust issues, to just go running into a death trap with a guy who just proved he could suddenly lose his chipmunks all over a very sensitive situation, without first trying to establish with him what is and isn't okay to do when it might get them all killed? Remember "We have to put our lives in each other's hands, completely, without hesitation"? Dante did that once already and look what happened. Then he did it again without any skepticism. Really? Plus, it made Vergil's downfall seem lukewarm if Dante wasn't going to bust his chops over it.

dude, they seriously don't have any time for melodramatic moments, and dante of all people probably should be the one to scold vergil about losing his cool, ([poison scene anyone) like he said, they're brothers, they don't complete contrast one another

...did you forget the several different melodramatic scenes they had over Kat's safety? They had time for "DANTE THAT'S MADNESS" but not "VERGIL THAT WASN'T COOL"?

Now, hold on, there. Mentioning things like that shouldn't get you insulted... they should just be ignored. It's already common knowledge that the game has no lock-on and is 30 fps, so there's no need to bring it up again.
 
Honestly, that scene was pretty ****ed up. It was one thing when the baby and Lilith were attacking Dante, but Vergil's actions... don't see how he could possibly have been surprised at the end by this point. Dante should've went further to call Vergil on his previous **** throughout the game.
 
I dont mind 30 fps. Few things which i dont like are for example, not needed swearing instead of jokes, enemies which can be harmed only by demonic or angelic weapon(slashers are about mixing combos - why limit that with some enemies?), some bosses are disgusting and gross- they dont have anything interesting or special, or that pr crap that game is second coming and have best thing from whole series while it have pretty much nothing.
 
-dante cursed just a frequently in the anime
-what are demon bosses supposed to look like? my little ponies?
-the game has the best aspects of the series and makes it accessible along with a large amount of depth, that's an accomplishment that the old series didn't accomplish

You know what? I dont care about anime, we are talking about reboot as a game. All bosses are like that, that lazy design, in 3 and 4 each boss was diffrent, had something special. If you think these game have best aspects of series can you show some examples?
 
-in 4 you had to fight the same bosses over and over, and they didn't even feel like gothic bosses, they felt more final fantasy and generic anime
best aspects of the series
-crowd control
-stylish combo potential
-in depth combo system ("BUT ITS NOT AS DEEP AS DMC 4 THEREFORE IT SUUUUUCCCKKKKKSSSSS") yeah no it doesn't, the fact that you can't do combos like watch?v=Rp0lwqpcfOY easily and have to practice, (look at how many orbs he has) means that this game requires a moderate level of technical skill, period
-story actually being good, when's the last time we saw dante develop as a character? we haven't seen that in 8 years, and its amazing that a reboot finally accomplishes this
-over the top moments, if getting dressed while flying through a trailer isn't over the top enough for you then you have are expecting way too much
 
Over the top moments? NT is subtle as hit with baseball bat. Dante develop as character? Hm what about DMC3 where he is slowly acepting his demons root and understanding Lady motives or in DMC4 when Nero earn his respect with time. Story, bleh i felt horrible hearing stupid lines like squirrel semen beign part of spell recipe or Vergil saying he have bigger dick than Dante. Whole plot is bad copy of "They live" and "Matrix", just demons instead of aliens/si. One thing was at least funny, when Kat was going to explain her gravity spell and "Dante" said he dont want to hear anything about that.There is a lot of meaningless platforming section, one whole level and half of other two are pretty much just that. Depth combo system? Yeah, while weapons are not balanced at at all, arbiter beign too good in doing damage and aquila can stun enemies forever while spaming its atacks. Crowd control? Oh right, you can be in air forever because you can spam angel whip.
You have your reason to like reboot, enjoy and have good time with it. I was trying to give it chance, found nothing worth my time. For me its bad game made by Ninja Theory with DMC sticker on it.

Then why stay here on this side of the forum, if all you're going to do is question peoples' interests and rile people up...?
 
I am just posting my opinion. I am not saying "THIS GAMEZ IS CRAP DONT BUY IT BECAUSE I DONT LIKE IT". I supose most people have brain working enough to judge if reboot is worth their time. I like eariler game of series, so i was curious about reboot. Its not good for me, thats all.
