DmC antis, so lemme get this staight, (spoilers)

so lemme get this straight, a character who is obviously having a hamlet-esque downfall killing a demon child in a video game is offensive?

remember when people stated that vergil was not evil enough when he got his debut trailer? and now that it shows that he is having a downfall, its a bad thing WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE WANT?!

in fact, in dmc 4, both nero AND dante killed a demon mother's children mercilessly and killed them before they were born, and when she started grieving, dante just shot and killed her in cold blood like it was nothing, (and it wasn't since he's an OP protagonist), how come that's not bad? hypocrisy at its finest kids :devil:
 
Man, you need to stop wasting so much of your time talking about "antis", if you love something, talk about the good (and bad, why not?) things about it, instead of focusing on haters.

Even the haters spend far less time talking about supporters and a lot more time bashing on the game.

Stop taking it personally.

I'm pretty sure that honor belongs to me, seeing as how I've kept an objective viewpoint (I made a "fair criticism" topic, a thread that someone actually called me a "troll" over) throughout this entire ordeal.

Yeah what he said.

Listen man, I understand the first post you made cuz I've experienced a situation like that with another franchise (wanna take a guess?), but like Baga said, you really shouldn't give a rat's ass about what people say about the game or about you supporting it. It's a waste of time. I see you sometimes on youtube and all you do is worry about what the antis think. Stop doing that and think about what fun you may have with the game.

Besides they may be the ones who are not having fun at all by waiting for a DMC5 while you can just have fun with this one and not give two sh*ts what people say.

if i take it personally i would say that i take it personally, considering that in the very end i really don't care about their opinions ESPECIALLY when i get my copy of the game on friday, i don't take it personally at all really, its just that its seriously annoying, going into depth on why i feel my opinion is credible does not mean that i care at all

i don't even understand them half the time because they confuse dubstep with electronica -_-
 
The problem was that Vergil did this randomly monstrous thing, and put Dante and Kat in serious danger for no reason, but nobody confronted him about it afterwards. Dante should have been screaming at him like an angry mountain lion over that move, or at least said "Don't you ever pull some psycho sh*t like that on me again." Instead...nada.

I mean, his character displayed smaller hints of ruthlessness before, that it was easy to let slide because it wasn't too bad, but what Vergil did to Lilith was so "lol whut" that it should have had a much bigger splash.
