Hey ! its unfair since DMC1-3 didn't have that much graphical capabilities to pull that much detail out i mean in DMC3 he still tears the left sleeve didn't and also after lady was shooting him there was holes in his jacket hence proving your point wrong

I don't like that - I get the whole fixing up your body thing a la Wolverine but I don't like how his hairstyle and clothes are included in that. It seems a bit...I dunno the word for it but I don't like it.

Happens all the time in Bayonetta. In cutscenes and in actual gameplay (during attacks, her suit becomes basically a swimsuit).
And in Mortal Kombat 9, the fighters actually show signs of having fought so hard. Their skin and clothes tear a lot.
And I think it happens in Batman.
