When Ash died in Pokémon the First Movie and Pikachu and the other Pokémons were all crying and shnit. I went to the movie theatre to watch it and I cried like a bitch when Ash died (I WAS ONLY 9).

Although the mood was ****ed up by Ash being brought back to life.

I came close to crying when Maes Hughes died in Fullmetal Alchemist. Aeris was a bit of surprise but I wasn't really a fan to begin with.
