Devil Trigger, and Dante's future talk

I disliked their rebooted dt as it was just a way for them to pander to the fans. "look we gave you the white and red coat", when it would have just been easier not to have redesigned him at all.

So i'm more into him having a demonic looking DT rather than his old look.

i think it was more of a stepping stone Dante takes to becoming the Dante from the original. after all this IS a "coming of age story" so i think it was less of " see its not that different stop hating us :(" and more of a thought out concept

Dante's devil trigger is like going super saiyan and later to full potential of a demon (full demon form). As for the angel trigger... hope there some demon parts of him or human.

Wouldn't be nice after his fight with Mundus, Dante keeps his white hair or half of it and kan create a shop or an organization of demon slayers.

Of course, Vergil could leave some gifts for Dante to keep him alive and for him to defend humanity.

There ARE actually silver haired Saiyans in fanfics. I thought it was called Dragonball AF or something.

I never liked that devil trigger.Seriously,it looks ridiculous.
I can understand of his hair being white and all but his coat being red? How can they explain that?
The chances for this dante to become like the old dante are somewhat high if you think about it.Well, let us all just wait in the game.

A demonic angel would be better. Or an angelic demon. Just a colour swap is boring.

Plus I think Dante looking like Original Dante is NT(Probably Capcom) trying to show fan service and trying to appeal to the old fans which is odd since they're trying to get new fans.
I Don't want new Dante end up becoming Old Dante again! I don't want the Pizza eater as a reboot if it's a REBOOT.
really i see noting wrong with it, and i am a "new" fan maybe to a lesser degree, none the less i am a "new" fan. And i think the hair turning white thing was probably a means of getting the public to calm down (back then) i doubt they kept the model or concept of the devil trigger they revealed back then.

As far as gameplay goes, I really dislike this DT simply because it seems like a boring "minigame" rather than a actual "power up" like the old DT form was.

Dante still seems to have the same power as he did before but now the enemies simply are blasted into the air and floating while the world turns black which in my opinion is a lot lamer than the original Devil Trigger.

As far as looks goes, I think its a nice way for NT to pay homage to the old Dante, although it does make me wish that they would have kept him like that all the time rather than made it a transformation. Now as someone else brought up earlier, it would be great for this Dante to actually have a DEVIL form for his Devil Trigger, but we have to remember that this game is a "origin story" for the reboot, kinda akin to that of DMC3 and we all know that Dante had to work up through the game before he was able to unlock his DT. If NT is truly drawing inspiration from the old Dante like I think they may be doing, I think they are going to have this Dante fully unlock his true potential (such as constantly being in white hair and red coat form) before awakening his TRUE Devil Trigger later in the game.

That's Dark Schneider from the manga Bas tard. (remove the space in the middle)
Why do they have to rape the german language all the time....

I don't really mind the look of the new DT, it's just the function of it that strikes me wrong. If new Dante is able to juggle and chain aircombos like a boss anyways, why do you need a DT that simply slows time to allow you to do this?
Just doesn't look like anything else but a glorified Quicksilver-mode.

I believe its inevitable for his hair to turn white. But look at his personality now.
-He uses fear and intimidation rather than taunts
-He brutally slaughters his enemies
-His hatred of Demons far exceeds the old Dante's
This Dante is ****ing mad. He'll probably open Devil May Cry, get white hair, and become a better fighter. But he'll always be a ****ed Demon, very violent, and possibly psychotic.`
