I think it'd be cool if they did them for the next gen consoles. Buut, do DMC 5 first. Make that the priority.
I would say that it's dependant on how long it would take to port the games to the new gen. If it's only a matter of days to weeks to recode the games for the PS4/One I say yeah, absolutely. However, if it takes more money and time than it is practical then I say wait for it. Considering that the games are already on HD and on 360 and PS3 I don't think it'd be a particularly monumentous task to get the games moved to the new council, specially since the orginal data is from the PS2 and the technology if more closely compatible with the new systems than it is with the PS3.
A quick thought. Did anyone actually get DMC on release day in August, 2001?

on a side note if they were to port the HD collection to ps4 and 360
hopefully they would port it to PC as well
and DMC 3 would finally get a decent PC port
I was pretty young back then and I couldn't get a PS2. Among my friends it was a pretty big deal having one so I didn't actually own my own for many years after. As soon as I got one I bought Kingdom Hearts, Onimusha, I think, Oni, and DMC1 and 2 not long after.
