Shiftguard - dashes to the back of the enemy after performing royal guard or air guard, timing is needed
Royal Guard is about stopping the enemy attack, building up energy and counterattacking. moving behind the enemy would break the pattern, besides if the player wants to teleport behind the enemy they can use the trickster move Evade.
Royal Guard: defensive moves and counterattacks;
Royal Guage: a gauge that fills during some Royal guard moves used for attacks and high level defensive moves.
Level 1:
1. Block: LT(hold); reduce damage taken from enemy attacks and fill the Royal Guage
2. Royal Block: LT (during enemy attack): negate all damage from the attack and fill the Royal Guage
3.Release:up+LT; channel the energy in the royal gauge into a powerful attack
Level 2:
4.Royal Release: up+LT; (during enemy attack); counter the enemy attack and channel the energy in the royal gauge into a more powerful attack
5. Air Guard: all Royal Guard moves except Royal Release now work in mid air
6.Steelheart: the Royal Gauge now increases by a small amount when Dante takes Damage.
7. Parry: hold LT, release during enemy attack; stops the attack and causes a small amount of damage; fills the Royal Gauge.
Level 3:
8. Dreadnought:down+LT; creates a suit of demonic armor that makes Dante immune to enemy attacks; reduces movement and attack speed; drains the Royal Guage.
9. Air Royal Release: Royal release now works in mid air
10. Ultimate: down+LT(hold): blocks enemy attacks and uses the energy to heal the user; Dante is unable to move while using Ultimate; drains the Royal Guage
