The only RE I had a hard time watching was the last one... It kind of felt like a kids idea of a good movie, "I want this, and this, and this, and this, and this!".
I'll continue watching them though. I forget what happened at the end of the last one, but I remember Wesker trying to side with the main character for whatever reason. I don't want to rewatch it to find out the reason, so I'll just wait for the next one to remind me.

He basically gave Alice her T-Virus powers back so she could help him defeat Red Queen, not any altuistic motives.
