I notice this thread is getting pretty sympathetic. We're all DMC and DmC fans right. Man the hell up, and have faith. (Ironically we're talking about a game where you play as a devil)

Not only are there more true fans than haters, but I have a feeling we will see a lot of new fans too. I think this will sell better than you think.

I know a big DMC fan who sounded just like the commenters on YouTube when this game was first announced and he surprised me recently but coming up to me and talking about how he can not wait for the game then we were looking at YT vids for the game and such and he read some of the comments and was like 'Did I sound like them??' I nodded and he was all embarrassed lol
All through his hate for the game I never tried to convince him otherwise he came around himself and my gods he wont shut up about it now even more...not that I am complaining. xD

when i first saw the game i was about to become a hater but then i was like....forget it this game will be awesome plus haters always fail

I've been following DMC forums for a long time Lexy, DMC.org is by far the most positive place on the internet for DmC, even more so than Ninja Theory's own forums. I have not seen one user on this forum that even kinda qualifies as a hater.
There are diffidently haters; and they aren't people who simply dislike this game or don't think it looks good. They're people who constantly refer to Ninja Theory and the new Dante as... well... words I can't repeat here without getting in trouble, who wish for DmC to be such a huge failure that Ninja Theory has to shut down for good, who wish in no uncertain terms that Tameem and other Ninja Theory employees kill themselves or otherwise die somehow. If that's not hate I don't know what is.

Personal hating someone like Tameem and his team for a video game. Not a cool thing at all. These aren't haters. They're psychos who would hurt someone for a video game. Even if killing them or sending death threats to them was a joke. It doesn't even sound funny. Psychos.

I agree, we SHOULD man up, but how could we do something like that right now if something like this.....
would even give us more doubts than ever?
I'm also sick of the nostalgiafags comparing this to MGR and Bayonetta, like who gives a damn? MGR is way different from DmC and like Tameem said, Bayonetta is too "Japaneesy". (yeah, I don't like Boyonetta that much)

I have no problems with people who dislike the game with "real" reasons. But the people insulting DmC fanbase and making jokes about them and about New Dante,DmC which really ****es you off if you're looking forward the game. And even worse those who sent Tameem death threats for a "game".

I personally feel this game looks worse than DMC4 on most levels, but I'm not going to go into that again and get in some kind of internet war with people. I've played every installment of the DMC series, including DMC's successor, Bayonetta, and I can tell you that everything about this game seems worse than the original games.
As I said, I'm not going to get into an argument again, because it's happened far too often that people make me out to be a 'hater', and I'm getting sick and tired of that word, because to me, it implies that you can't choose to hate anything anymore, and that you're supposed to like everything that's fed to you. Either like it or be indifferent about it - that seems to be today's gamers' motto. In fact, somebody said that to me before: ''Don't like it, don't play it''. Sure, but if everybody thought like that, there would be a flood of terrible games drowning everybody who still has braincells left.
Sadly, Japanese games are usually the ones that still have cultural references in them, and ones that are actually interesting, instead of 'western' games that often get stupid, modern references put in them. Or not even references, but simply culture in general. Oddly, Japanese games often implement western cultural themes, and they do that very well, whereas western games don't.
And yes, that developer diary 02 just confirms to me how idiotic DmC is... again.

DMC3 had something like this and yet it wasn't called stupid or was bashed to hell, so why the hell is this game getting all that bashing for just doing motion captures, huh? WHY?! SOMEBODY TELL ME WHY!! Man this generation has changed.

Like Dante's cheesy ''This party's getting crazy. Let's rock!'' It's embarrassing, but it's a better kind of embarrassing than that video diary.
