Cthulhu! Scary!
Isn't it the monster sunk in a sea, looking like a mixture of an octopus, dragon and human? The strong one being able to invade weak people's dreams in order to make them into his worshippers?

D: ! what the ****! oh my god! i will never sleep again!

Its a creuture populated in hp lovecraftian fiction. its basically a being who lives outside our dimension and messes with it without our knowledge.

This is a straight translation out of the article I started to think about when hearing the name "Cthulhu":

Cthulhu is the high priest of the "Great Ancient", and even if he might not be the strongest of the Ancients, he is the most famous one. Nowadays Cthulhu is trapped in the ancient, sunken R'lyeh town of his, deep under the sea. According to Lovecraft's words, he is "dead, but dreaming/sleeping". Despite this, he can be freed from R'lyeh when the stars are lined up properly.
Cthulhu has immense psychic powers, but now under the sea he can use them only limitedly. Still, Cthulhu is preparing his return by invading into the dreams of sensitive people to make them into his worshippers.

So, yeah, he would be one creepy monster to face! And taking in account how hideous he looks, too... brrr!

you won't have to scrape up much i got the collector's edition for $10 where i live, and that's not alot of dough lol so yeah definitely try it if you can find it :) quote]

I snooped around and the cheapest DMC4 I found cost almost 20 €. Well, I took it. xD But since I bought it from a net store, I have to wait till it arrives to my door. Shouldn't take more than a couple days, though. And then I can finally give it a try and hopefully enjoy it a lot. :D

Why is this whole sh1t in quotes, including my writing? This forum never stops confusing me with its tricks. xD

Name: Mona-Lisa
Description: Basically a female version of Dante. She dresses like and resembles Hazama from Blazblue (black hair with a kind of blue tint though, not green lol) She has two Colt SAA's (one silver and one gold) She also wields a sword similar to Rebellion but it has a slight zig-zag shaped blade, basically a large version of one of Hazama's knives (not the ones he throws, but the ones he spins) Haven't figured out a devil trigger yet. I've actually been thinking of this character for a long time to be honest lol but as a playable character not a boss. But this works too :)

sounds very unique, gives some awesomeness to the name mona lisa!

I'm a little surprised that people here don't know about Clhtulian myths. Lovecraftian films and games are pretty abundant, Wiki 'em and you'll get a taste of what they're about. Lovecraft is also the origin of the Name Arkham, a hospital or an asylum, can't remember.

I was watching this Jet Li movie and he was a monk (huge stretch aye?) and he was fighting cool demons like snake demons, wolf demons and a couple others.
I was really liking the way Jet Li would exercise the demons and i was thinking, how would dante be able to beat him? A Monk demon hunter is rather strong and uses god like powers. Monks also give no quarter to demons as well, but i dunno about a half demon. Maybe they could become partners for a mission or just agree to a truce since both their intentions are the same. But a fight between the two would spell doom for Dante since he doesnt harm humans and a Monk would show no mercy. A nice contrast i think

When I was reading a book of myths, I came across a Siberian world creation story, and a boss enemy based on Erlik could be nice in my opinion.
Baked out from the myth and happenings there, the boss in the game could be something like this:

Erlik has a shape of a human man, dressed in heavy clothes and furs in a Siberian style, but instead of being initially flesh and blood, he is made out of mud.
He can control the muddy ground and even sink his enemies as if the battle ground was a dangerous marsh. He can also use a reed/stalk (whatever it's called in English...) and blow evil souls through it to pester his enemy. These souls could maybe be more like obstacles to be dodged than smallfry to be beaten down? Whatever would suit the best. Erlik also has the ability to change into a black goose, but when he flies too high or too long, he gets tired and has to return to the ground.

All of the above moves and such are heavily based on the myth... and since Erlik was the "baddie" there and he ended being the king of the underworld and all that, he could be molded into an enemy fit for fighting Dante.
If anyone is interested about the myth, I can tell about it in more detail.

And then, I think I attach a rather silly noob question of mine here... what exactly are the things such as "following someone", "liking someone's post" and all the things under your account, where other people can post messages and such? I recently took a greater look under my account, and saw I've received some messages there and that I've got followers, but since I'm new to this I'm a bit of loss how work around with this stuff. Don't hit me for asking such a stupid question... D:
