Well, if you ask me, they are both as good as eachover. Dante is half demon, and kratos has that magic (well i know he does in the second one) so i said its a tie, but you really don't know. but they both have awesome weapons, and awesome fighting moves :S so i don't know, i'll let you guys decide

but i for one thing this thread is a bit silly. because this is a devil may cry forum, most people are going to say that the main character of dmc would win. i bet you anything if you go over to a god of war forum they would vote kratos!

ps NOT ON TOPIC: i've played a demo of god of war at my mates house and it's awesome! ^_^
