Christmas? Already?

I have just seen an advert saying "christmas is coming early, santa is coming to disney land on november 8th.
All i thought was ITS NOT EVEN NOVEMBER AND THERE ARE XMAS ADS ON!!! We haven't even passed Halloween,

any views on xmas being so early and all its advertising

BAH HUMBUG I say.

You can tell it's Easter when the Christmas decorations end up getting rolled out, and you can tell it's Christmas when they start stocking the Easter Eggs, ugh, advertising, it's all become so bloody comercialised now.

:lol: I know what you mean. Where I work we have Christmas stuff ready to sell. As well as stuff fro Halloween. Imma like "It's not Christmas for at least another month and a bit" :lol:

Yeah. They already have faux trees and decorations up at our Hobby Lobby and Michales. By November the 1st, Wal-Mart will be putting out Christmas cards.

i dont work in a shop so i dont know about stock and stuff, but by the 8th november it will all be xmas, get halloween and bonfire night out of the way and then its all you will see for the next 3-4 months

i saw a christmas book for 2009 !!!!!! im like its still 2008 ...... and christmas is a big money making scam ........ i love it but god its expensive

Xmas has become too much about money and recieving. It should be about giving, and the thought. I feel bad for people who have to get their own stuff this year, but most people under 18 have the presants they buy, bought for them by their parents to give to thier friends. Nevere been like taht for me, i've had to work for my own money to get pressies for my friends =þ

People want their money dude they must advertise ealier than usual because if they did advertise on christmas day then they would not make such a big profit from Sandy Claws :lol:.

true, but haloween hasnt passed and people are getting into xmas, yes okay, i will start buying my pressies soon, but i buy the same kind of stuff each year, sweets for all lol, so the adverts dont really effect me

Second, If you buy sweets for everyone, then what better time than Halloween to buy your candy???

true, but its better to buy about mid november, when the xmas sales have started, without being antisales and making everything expensive, and its after haloween so they are clearing out the stock XD

Just saying, they are just trying to make money. I don't know who "they" are but that is all "they" want.
