Capcom will collaborate with DmC studio Ninja Theory again

Lol. Not a problem. It does look and act a lot like Vergil, doesn't it? Makes me wonder whether or not he had a hand in Mundus' plan. He said he wrote security programs, right? Maybe the "Defense Systems" in Limbo are part of his doing...

But, since Mundus doesn't know Vergil, he most likely stole Vergil's programs (and fighting techniques... from another company who also copied Vergil... maybe... I don't know, this explanation's becoming too complicated) and fused them with his monsters. Or it's just a coincidence. Still, it's a pretty big coincidence just to leave out in the open. :ermm:
 
I believe DmC2 will be an official remake of DMC2, the latest of the DMC series. I believe when Capcom said they're not abandoning the original series, they probably meant combing DmC and DMC altogether. We have our origin story, which introduced Mundus, and you finish what your father started by killing him. Thats DMC1 and DMC 3 right there, the first and secound chapter of DMC. DmC2 will probably be DMC4 and DMC2 stories combined also. We will be reunited with a rebooted nero and lucia.

If a sequel rolls around for DmC I'm pretty sure it might have a stronger emphasis on Vergil as an antagonist. Just knowing a DLC called Vergil's Downfall will be released I expect something to happen between the brothers to put them on opposite sides and I can see him fighting his way out of whatever he's at (I'm guessing hell) to return wanting revenge. Or we can have a sequel introducing an entirely new villain.

You know, maybe the events that will take place in DmC actually open the world's eyes to the existence of demons and a business like Devil May Cry would actually be sensible to have. Demon bounty hunting as an occupation could become a normality opening the doors to see classic characters returning picking up a kind of job like that.

Whoa Whoa let's not get crazy here lol Canceling Dragon's Dogma 2 after the sells Dragons Dogma made would be idiotic. And plus I am SOOOO HYPE FOR IT!!!!

Lol thanks so much Sieghart! I really appreciate it! I could literally imagine if CAPCOM would actually make DMC5 in the future by using MT Framework as the game engine itself, it would be one hell of a very fantastic game with smooth beautiful environment, smooth HD graphics, more in-depth storyline, more combo attacks, more styles, more weapons, etc. And not to mention, bring back the TRUE Demon Emperor Mundus once again as the final boss in the game to end it once and for all! Simple and nice! :D

Wouldn't Dante have white facial hair as well? Unless he really just dyes it white. Well what do you know, Dante had black hair all along.

No offense... But Reuben langdon would defile all the suave dark awesome of this concept with his corny, loony over-the-top delivery. He'd have to tone it down for this one. Like, no roses or confetti or rocket surfing or daffy duck woo-hooing. Or general acts of cooky self satisfaction.
 
A more Noir approach to DMC with 5 could work I guess.

The writing would have to be a lot better though, it's ok in previous games because it's just there for giggles and whatnot, but if you want to set a darker tone you need decent writing, otherwise it becomes cringeworthy

Vergil's downfall takes place before the events of DmC. If it were to take place after, it would be a huge spoiler to fans. Its an untold story of Vergil, so we don't know what made him look the way he does. DmC2 will most likely try to fill in the gaps of the ORIGINAL DMC. DMC4 and DMC2 is where all the questions are coming from, NT/CAP will take this opportunity to retell the events of DMC4 leading up to DMC2.
