Can Sparda make an appearance in the new game?

I wish Sparda made an appearance somehow here in DMC5.

It'd be nice to introduce him as the "Big Boss" of DMC.

I'd like if they actually showed Sparda, too. Up until now, he's merely been a plot device--and that makes me sad, because there's so much potential for him to be a character.

Seems like they’re going all out with this one, so there’s always a good chance he’ll be mentioned or make an appearance.

That could be a jump the shark moment and i wouldn't know how to deal with it.

But meeting sparda could be interesting.

I think it'd be cool to do what FFX did and have Dante find a memory log that Sparda left behind if one (or both) of his sons had to venture into Hell.

Seriously, that was my favourite scene in FFX. <3
