i like the concept of both demons and angels against humans...everyone wanting to dominate....demons out of pure greed and rage, angels out of envy

Why would angels be envious? Of the humans or demons?...

Why would demons want to hurt humans? It's relevant to the story and their drive.

If you want something deeper than that then because humans have free will or they're god's favorites or because they don't like kittens and kittens like humans.

Legion's just a movie. Angels are the right- hand men of God living in paradise. Why would they be jealous of some morally- confused mortals who can't seem to agree on a single thing without killing each other first?
