yh, maybe hes a weak demon like in the anime. one soo weak he has to wear human skin to blend in rather than shae shift. itd explain why he can cross over from limbo but other demons cant

Although we've already seen this before...

"explore" meeh i dont want too many facts about him. itd probs be him everyother level on the tv saying how all the demon stuff you stopped was all your fault etc. i just wanna feel that deep loathing you get when you REALLY want to beat a villain. you dont really get that anymore in games

yeah that's what i meant, i want a reason to hate this character so when i see him or fight him i would like to feel that emotion of "that guy is evil and i want to destroy him!"
 
I think it'd be pretty cool if after a mission that involves a part of the city being destroyed (like the ferris wheel), we see the latest 'Raptor News' broadcast with Bob. And he runs Dante's name through the mud even more.

Bob Barkas reminds me of Nick Ferrari: The voice of london, from V for Vendetta. they both speak out against the protagonist, they both claim to be doing gods work, and they both try to influence the world.

In answer to chocos query: major protagonist, not minor is better to have...
And the fact we have seen this before (well maybe me) look at previous protags and compare them....
 
I think bob is just a normal human being and just rants on Dante for what's been going on. Like Nancy Grace for example; She rants on a lot of things and quickly judges people who do something that envolves destruction as a terrorist. Bob's probablly one of those reporters who only has something bad to say about someone. And now in DmC:

Bob is the human news reporter (Like Bill O' Riley or Nancy Grace) Who's only purpose in the game is to call Dante a terrorist (Cause stuff seems to get destroyed when Dante's around) and make people like us and the rest of the human race hate him from the lies that Bob is spreading. But we except those lies because we're not just gonna go up to him and ask, he's been branded a terrorist, and a normal human being would never just walk up to a terrorist.

In short; Bob's a Troll.
