Whatever the case, E3 starts tomorrow so I'll just do the most sensible choice and wait till then to see if there is an official announcement. So far nothing concrete to hold on so E3 is the last chance before TGS.

I'm feeling pretty good about it. Honestly things are coming up DMC today.

I find it rather fishy how the name is quickly gone from the resume if its supposed to be for DmC

maybe he auditioned again and Capcom picked him up

He probably removed it because he wasn't a part of the finished product and as a result of the rumors people kept bugging him about it.

Does pachinko machine fit in this " DMC series" mentioned in this report or is it a different thing altogether?

The FY2014-2017 pipeline refers only to video game software. Pachislot and arcade machines are not considered consumer products and are a part of a different category altogether.

Yeah that tweet links to his FB post Gel posted. Which is a confirmation of DMC5's rumor not being true.

As for that alcom.ch link, I don't know what it is and if it is reliable, @Erian1Mortal, that site seems German, do you know anything about it?

It's a swiss site actually, nothing I'd know about. But looking at the site, I wouldn't trust it.

If the game were to be a thing we might have to wait to see it. The last conference is at 6 pm, LA time, for Sony, and trailers might be shown at a conference rather than released at E3 in general.

Man look what kind of a sh**storm these guys conjure up when they post bulls**t. I wish they would stop posting DMC stuff unless they know something is happening. That Harry Potter mirror pic is f***ing ridiculous, what do they think we'd think when seeing that?

Thing is, the only non-Twitter clue we had so far was from a voice actor. The game wasn't even leaked for E3 in the first place, but because it is near, people made the conjecture right away. With that in mind, we did not have any actual "E3 fake rumor" relayed throughout the serious websites yet. Which is both a good and a bad sign. As mentioned above, if Devil May Cry 5 was to be introduced at E3, it would have been already leaked by now. We already have Dead Rising and a RE globe-trotter leak/rumor.

For me, the Langdon tweet disproves it. If he were part of a DMC5 then he wouldn't have been able to say anything. He's probably just as curious about the future of the franchise as we are. Like LoD I'm not holding out any hope but I'd love to see it and have my scepticism proved false but I feel that the evidence is very much stacked against DMC appearing.

guess the dream is dead after all :(

guess its becoming a running gag of some new hints popping only to be proven false

It's not much, but Dan Southworth updates his profile pic and background pic on fb with dmc-stuff frequently. Don't read toomuch into it, but it is curious.

Did he just start doing that more frequently or has it been a pattern over the past five years or so?

Come on! Seriously? How much brain power does it take to understand he posted that cause it represents how he feels about DMC too, that he wants to make another one just as much as we wanna play it? Why taking it as a clue at all costs? That is OUR fault.

This is what I find pretty sad. We see them so much as Dante, Vergil and Nero that we forget they are Reuben Langdon, Dan Southworth amd Johnny Yong Bosch, DMC fans like us and people who like to have fun in general. If some of them posts a funny meme about DMC fans immediately think of a clue to DMC5 and are ready to blame them when they get disappointed because they "teased them". It's our fault to see hints everywhere, not theirs to screw around with each other on Twitter.

Sometimes I kinda pity them, they don't seem to be fully aware of how hungry fans are for a new game, so they don't know how much they "risk" by screwing around posting anything DMC related, even if it's a retweet of a humorous meme someone else made or a stupid poll asking if people would be on board for DMC5 for the fun of it.

Some people got hyped up when Dan posted a poll about which of his characters people liked most, Vergil, the Quantum Ranger or Kenshi, thinking THAT was a way to tease DMC5. That's insane, it shows how ready we are to read too much into things we shouldn't, and we seriously gotta calm down with the "Illuminati confirmed" type of mentality that leads us to accuse these actors of teasing us for nothing when they just wanna have fun on the internet. If you wanna have someone to blame for DMC5's absence, you know you gotta point your finger at Capcom for ignoring the fans and basically being in the process of making DMC share the same fate as Mega Man.

Ok, look people. These actors are proud of the work they did in DMC so when the post DMC stuff it's just them taking pride or noting their work, not dropping hints or teasing. It's us who are seeing what we want to see out of those posts. Them and many other actors have worked together on many projects and they will work together in the future again, it not their fault we won't take anything with a grain of salt as we should all know to by now.
