I would've rather had a Pinkie Pie pack, than a samurai pack to tell the truth
Pinkie Pie replaces the rebellion
Applejack throwing a lasso replaces the grapple
and the party cannon replaces the shotgun.

Imagine, using Pinkie Pie as a talking magical sword to whack enemies.
Like Agni and Rudra, only more annoying and smiley......... and awesome.

Actually, the angry fans win that battle. They just gave 5 dollars to capcom and avoided giving 40$
 
I'm waiting for the PC version which comes with enhanced gfx with lots and lots of mods !!
 
I can't get the PC version because I'm using an Intel 865g graphics card, which is also known as an outdated piece of crap that can't even play minecraft.
 
yea I forget that we are talking about CAPCOM here the DLC whores...

They will most likely save the good stuff for future DLC rather than let these retailers have it.
 
Virtuafighter 5 + loads of DLCcontent costs only 40 dollars total on PSN.

Game: costs 15 dollars.
And you can buy dlcs thatwill take the price up to 40dollars.

And the DLC packsare loads of cusomization content.

the "good stuff" isn't very game changing though so does it really make a differenence?

the moment they spend actual money to buy something they've lost. Not because they didn't feed capcom, or maybe even NT in this case, but because it proves in the end their anger wasn't really justified. If they hate the game and buy the skins it means their trolls. If they buy the DLC and like the game it means NT did good and they were mad at nothing all along.

Its something that old school fans would love to see in this new DMC reboot so yea it does make a difference.

Maybe not to you, but to others it does.

then capcom will make it dlc. if its important to people and their going to buy the game used regardless their going to make money of them.

hell i know i would. buy my game used and i'll give you what you want most as extra content so you pay me anyway

But thats a greedy ambition if you ask me.

How come they can't already add it to the game as unlockable after you beat it?

You know, like they used to do BEFORE DLC?

Like you said, they know what the fans want and yet they wish to wait AFTER you have paid for their game to charge you for extra content that could have been on the disk?

Sorry but I honestly don't understand how anyone could defend those business practices.

Sure you making money but your screwing your consumers by putting out stuff at a later date for additional cost that you know they want to have and what could have been free on the game disk to begin with.

it depends on the nature of the dlc. if it is a lengthy and interesting piece such as a bunch of extra levels that help contribute to the over all story line. then sure ill give them an extra 5 pounds (asuming a lenghty period of time between release and when DMC comes out). if on the other hand they release an alternate skin colour or something trivial like that almost immediately after DmC is released then i would be on your side and suggest capcom go **** themselves with a shard of glass.

oh im not defending them i'm just saying what they do is smart. it's greedy yes but smart. If people are going to buy it used anyway why even try to include it in the game?

if the fans don't care, or do care, about the game but buy it used, or in the case i mention are going to buuy it used anyway, why reward them? their punishing capcom and capcom is punishing them. If my consumer were to screw me,again buying the game used, i sure as hell wouldn't go "here you go guys we've also added an original dante skin in the game enjoy it" what right do they have to get something they want if i get nothing?


i'll say it again i am NOT defending the practice. Yes it IS greedy but it's smart and how i'd make money off people who don't want to pay for a product. the people who pre-order the game are getting what they want, the game plus some small stuff that can be earned anyway. The people buying it used are most likely sticking it to capcom, or NT, and just want a DMC game with DMC dante. So capcom goes ahead and adds DMC dante to the DmC world to make money off these angry people.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that if you put out content at a later date the fans are interested in than you are going to make additional money.

And regarding your "Capcom punishing angry fans thing", what about the fans that actually buy the game new that have to pay extra for content they want at a later date?

You say your not defending them, but it really does sound to the contrary when you keep bringing up Capcom punishing these supposed "angry fans" that are supposedly punishing them buy "buying it used".

And not all "angry fans" buy the game used.

Some actually can't afford to buy it new so they wait until its used to get it.

I have many friends that do this and it is not in spite of Capcom.

I'd say out of all the purchases Capcom will receive from this game the "angry fans" will be the "minority" here which means that the DLC really is screwing over more of the "happy fans".

This DLC business with Capcom is not smart, just greedy.

fans that buy the game new, and your free to correct me here, bought it for the gameplay,story,graphics,or presentation not because dante looks one way or another.

People who can't buy it new should pre order it. You kno pay it little by little as time goes on until the release date. Pre buying it bascially nets you the game earlier or whenever you pay it off and extra content that can be used to help advance.

happy fans, and im just groping people here unless theres a better word, will get the game new for what it is. People who buy it used might do it because they don't like dante or something about the game but still want to try it out; Or they do it because they can't afford it at release, hence why pre ordering even exists just pay it off before release.

extra skin DLC is not so game changing so significant to the game as whole that it should really matter wethier it gets added or not. Capcom, hell every one knows there are people who just downright hate how dante looks. Now what your trying to say is DLC this insignificant screwing over a fanbase but it isn't it's just a skin. Maybe your mad because this is something you want but truth is just because you want it, or anyone for this case, doesn't make it important. It doesn't destory the game, it doesn't effect "happy fans", and it doesn't add anything significant to the game as a whole.

It's smart on capcom's side because they'll make money off people who are interested in a very minor detail. People who got the game ahead of launch are already satisfied hence their buying it early if it doesn't affect them in a big way then it really isn't doing anything. To them, and again correct me if i'm wrong, this is just optional minor content the game doesn't really NEED to be complete.
