Man I've been hearing SO much sh*t from both sides about how he's disrespectful to the fans.

Well, just the one time.

I'm sure this is the only time.

I have no issue with any verson of the Dante's except the Anime. DMC2 Dante was the first Dante I ever played as so it has a special place there but DMC1/3/4 Dante were fine to me. I stated this in another thread but you can't blame Dante's personality because he had a bad plot in DMC4 that only allowed him to show one side of himself(DMC3 is a great example of this because his plot allowed him to show a lot of aspects of himself). In DMC4 it was nothing but filler for Dante. Dante is just a high spirited person with a huge sense of humor. DmC Dante reminds me more of Nero then Dante, Nero was very cool though in his own way.

If the old Dante is outdated while he still got white hair and a red coat devil trigger why create a dlc of his old costume there a difference between out dated and you just not liking it

DMC4 Dante was good until the moment he decided to open his mouth and noticing his unstylish pants for the first time aggravated the situation. However, he continued his growth in power, which is a good thing when you are a son of Sparda.

Classic Dante never bothered me. I still prefer him over NT's version any day. Perhaps there are so many annoying teenagers around me and they act like NT's version that it's gotten tired to me quickly.

Classic Dante was just...lazy, fun, cool, a bit of a jerk and just dorky. I resonante with that better. DMC 2 Dante...needs a hug.

Personally, I think Tameem is quite the cool guy. He dared to do what others would never do, and made a pretty outstanding game that deserves the name of "Devil May Cry".

We all loved the Old Dante, because he was so uncool and hilariously silly that he actually became cool in our minds. DMC 3 Dante, while still silly, managed to grow up a little and become a greater character near the end. DMC4 however spat in the face of DMC1 & 3 Dante and went all out. I mean come the **** on, he's dressed in rodeo clown pants, he's in his mid-late 40's, and acts like a child. Its almost like they completely disregarded DMC 1 Dante, not to mention the character development that went down in 3. They wanted to hold on to DMC3 Dante, which was the biggest ****ing mistake of the entire DMC series.

Its not like Tameem ever wanted to come off as an asshole or someone to be hated, in fact I commend him for making Dante a more down to earth character. This new Dante has a greater sense of purpose and actually acts like a sensible person. He knows when to be serious, he knows when to be goofy and silly. Such as the egg-timer bit and Posion. Though when the *SPOILER* Vergil boss battle rolled around, he was a developed and well maintained character who gave a crap about what went down around him. At the beginning of DmC, Dante would have been more than happy to let Vergil become the new tyrant of the world. However because of Tameem's character development, He matured into a more down to earth, and sensible guy that we can all relate to. He has a sense of humanity to him that allows for us to connect to him on a deeper level, we're able to see him as a real person. Rather than that annoying douchebag DMC4 Dante.

I commend Tameem for his work and dedication to the new DmC. He knows what he's doing and he knows how to do it right.

Couldn't have said it better myself.^_^

I, personally, never had anything against Tameem. What he said was never that insulting to me, just more of his honest opinion. I agree with him that Dante needed to change with the times. Look at something you loved as a kid and see if you still think it's as cool as it was to you then.

Over all, I thank him for the changes he's made. He brought in a new perspective of the series. We can still play the old games, so there's really nothing to be upset about.

yea some tend to forget about this.

Its not being sensitive, but the guy can be a douche at times.

He is human after all, but as I have said before on other topics, I would rather someone of his standing carry himself better.

It's not just the chaps...
I do love Uncle Dante as much as the next guy, I found him likable in simple ways.
