They revamped control in HD release so it's not tank controls anymore. Maybe it will be easier to get into.

first AitD were kinda cult classic. There were no games like that back in the day. Yeah today they unplayable, but they were kinda big deal back than. So RE was based on them.

I know it's hard to get in older RE games, but HD collection may help you with that also RE4 is pretty awesome in my opinion
