Tbh, as sad as it is, I don't blame them. POP was sucking up a lot of money to make it and the profit just wasn't worth it. Talking about the 2008 reboot. Cause the Sands Of Time series didn't get killed, it just ended. The story came full circle with The Two Thrones.
The actual shame was their sad attempt at reviving the SOT series with the 2010 game, instead of continuing the reboot and making it better. Or just leaving the franchise the heck alone after TTT. That way nobody would have claimed the series got "killed".
Does that make it any less of a sad revival attempt? I mean, they could have released a title that followed the events of the movie, there was no need to go back to the Sands Of Time universe. Just leave it alone. That's what made ME angry.
POP 08 got flack cause it just was luckluster. A game so ridiculously easy that you literally can't die, with boring, borderline QTE one on one fights (with WW and TTT's great combat system to live up to) and platforming just as dull. Its only saving grace was the amazing art style. And Elika. <3
