I kinda get what you mean, I have mixed feelings about Iron Man's presence in the movie.

What really bums me out is the second trailer. It appears to show every important plot point in the movie. Classic Sony; they used the same advertising strategy with The Amazing Spider-Man films.

@Teal What do you mean, Sony? Ain't this a Marvel Studios flick?

@Foxtrot94 technically they share the rights but marvel is more in control. Sony probably does have input and they are still making films with spidey characters like black cat and venom.

@DragonMaster2010 in ultimate Spiderman MJ actually makes his outfit. And the web cartridges/canisters started out as his dad's old inventions.

@Foxtrot94, part of their deal is that Sony does the advertising. Even the trailer has been posted on their Youtube channel.

Apparently after it's sequel, Spiderman will be leaving the MCU.

Huh? Then what was the point of having him in the MCU in the first place!
That's weird, Marvel's weird.

@Izzy Spidey is the face of Marvel, the quintessential marvel hero. I guess they just wanted to take their own shot.

I mean, I doubt it'll be the end of spiderman movies. We got a Venom and blackcat solo coming soon. Who knows; maybe after this spiderman leaves the MCU, he'll be part of the venom's universe.

I don't care for Venom, but a BlackCat movie sounds interesting. I always shipped Peter and Felicia together. <3

I'd love a Venom movie. He's always been a favourite of mine.
