Plus Berserk, because who doesn't need Berserk in their life?

Berserk is something mankind can ever have too much of.

So excited for Band of the Hawk.

For the record, that image came from a hilarious page in OPM where Blizzard calls Saitama and "his friends" to a match and so Saitama enters looking completely stale faced whiled flanked by three badass looking dudes.

I dunno how the atmosphere would be still be intact if Guts and Kenshiro were in the same vicinity of each other. I guess if Alucard joined the posse, the world would just explode.

DIO vs Alucard. Battle of the vampires. o_O
WolfOD64

C'mon, that isn't fair to Dio. He can only be in one dimension at once.

It's what I like to call the "Melzalgard Problem". At his peak, DIO is stronger but he has no method to kill Alucard so the latter will eventually just outlast him.

Alucard can hardly be called a vampire. He's more like a cosmic horror masquerading as a human. That'd be like pitting a regular human against a Great One from Bloodborne.

It's also amusing that what constitutes as a "Vampire" has changed so much over the years.
...I said while using a vampire avatar.:p

Vampire went from "undead guy that drinks blood and can make thralls" to "we call it a vampire but **** if we know what it really is"
WolfOD64

Alucard is not just 100% a vampire, but the only definition of a vampire that counts: an undead, freakish immortal creature of the pit that revels in bloodshed and controls the most vile parts of nature. In other words, he's Dracula, THE vampire of vampires. I think Hellsing was the last anime to get vampires right.

Daily recommendation of "Shiki" a show/manga that does vampires right.

Hmm. Probably just my dislike of Hellsing and vampires in general talking then.

Just take it from someone who spent a good chunk of their life being a rabid aficionado for Gothic Horror and Vampirism. I know a vampire when I see one. On the other hand, Hellsing isn't for everyone...it really is just for people into pulp violence and WW2 history.

I like World War 2, and I like excessive violence, but I also prefer the characters to be, I dunno, somewhat relatable. Same reason why I hate SAO.

As for my avatar, Shinobu exhibits the usual vampire traits: needs to suck blood, burns in sunlight, burned by holy items, regeneration, super strength/speed...etc etc.

@DreadnoughtDT Okay, whoa, whoa...Hellsing is not objectively horrible in the way SAO is. That anime epitomizes everything vapid and insufferable plaguing anime nowadays. Hellsing's an acquired taste, but SAO is actual ****. The only reason it isn't full-on cancer is because Kill La Kill already exists.

All I was saying was it's a similar problem that I had with it. It's not a comparison. I dislike SAO WAY more than I dislike Hellsing.

Honestly, when I think good anime, I think things like Berserk, Gundam, The Big O, etc.
