But this is straight up suppressing freedom of press. IGN didn't like it as much as the rest of the press, you can't just shut them up like that. This is why I hate scores btw.

I mean, I would understand if the reason was that the review contained disinformation, false claims or something, but because it was a 7 instead of 8, 9 or 10? Bullshit.
I think this speaks to the problem of having metacritic. People think that it represents the true score of a game instead of it being a pointless average. Instead of people finding reviewers that like the game that they like, they put their faith in metacritic.
