Amen to that. Although "The Captain" is my all time favourite.

I don't know if you mean the French guy with the eye patch or the Battalion guy. They are both called Captain.

Also I see what you did there with amen. Hehehe... gotta love how he says it with that accent. What is it, Irish?

By "Captain" I mean the guy who works under the "Major" in the Last Battalion.
Anderson has a Scottish accent in the dub, even though his nationality isn't known.

Ah that guy. Gotta tell you, I have strong suspicions he's not a vampire, but a werewolf. I'm at episode 9 and there's a shot where they frame his face and it appeared he had some sort of fur on it. Don't spoil me though!

Btw, wasn't it he the one who faced Walter? What happened there? Walter died to him? Looked like he was afraid of the Captain.

There exists a short prequel called "Hellsing: The Dawn" which details Walter and Alucard's first encounter with Millennium. I won't spoil it but let's just say that fight left Walter terrified of the Captain.

Ok. But what happened in Hellsing? Did the Captain kill Walter? I haven't seen him since the moment they faced, they didn't even show the fight.

Walter survived the fight, that's all I can say.

Eh, by that point he was seeking death anyway. In the aforementioned prequel he holds off both Walter and Alucard with ease.

Btw maybe I missed something... how was Alucard tamed if he's such an overpowered badass?

IIRC, after defeating him Van Hellsing had Alucard experimented to make him much more powerful so he could defeat other vampires. Or something like that, it's been a long time since I read Hellsing.

He is pretty awesome, but come on, no one (not even Dante) is as awesome as Alucard

Yeah I kinda feel the same. Maybe it's the whole "pet vampire" thing, maybe the fact he seems to have nothing to fight for, kinda making his awesomeness useless. I dunno really, he just doesn't do it that much for me.

Btw, I finished watching it and Anderson my fav confirmed.

1 - Captain, 2 - Walter, 3 - Anderson, 4 - Pip Bernadette, 5 - Schrodinger.
That's my top 5.

It's kinda strange for me really. I try to figure out my top 5 but I realize the only character that really stood out for me was Anderson.

And Pip too. Yeah I also liked Pip. The rest, I can't figure out why, I didn't care that much for.
