  • Cars are expensive indeed and so are lessons. Spent a year taking lessons before i took my test and it cost a lot of money and its getting more expensive.
Hmm...two weeks of effing and blinding before asking my neighbour to do it for me  Should just cut to the chase and ask him outright, I guess :D
Well car cost me a decent amount although its quite good on fuel (despite the prices). Main thing i like is not having to worry about washing and ironing my clothes.
lol - yeah, our tree sucks so bad  But it reminds me of when me and my sis were kids and deocrated the tree...and then my parents altering it bit by bit right up until Christmas day so we didn't notice that the changes took place

Just ordered the bike - it's the cheapest I could find for her age group and will be here two weeks before Christmas which gives me two weeks to put the damn thing together

My Christmasses as a kid were awesome - my family were dirt poor and we had nothing, really, but just opening that one present we got each on the day (bearing in mind we only ever got gifts on our birthday otherwise) was so exciting and valued more because we knew it would be a good 8 months before our next present...makes me sound somewhat dickensian but it really was like that - these days kids get everything they want plus more and have no concept of what it means to really receive a gift - they're too busy asking for the receipt so they can change it for something else  /parental rant
I've just never grown up where Christmas is concerned - Steve's not fussed about it so I go extra over the top mental to make up for it

It's even better when you have kids coz they get all worked up about it and you can feed off their excitement when most "grown-ups" just want to sleep off their Christmas dinner...already got our tree up and everything :D It looks uber crap and J decorated it so it looks like a fairy vomited on it, but makes me feel all Christmassy inside when I look at it :D

Have to say, you seem somewhat chirpier this evening ;)
Im still at home too as its cheaper and i pay for my phone, internet, board money to parents and my car etc but not all that much else. Have plenty of cash for games and my alcohol amongst other things that i get up to.
