What happened two months ago actually made me happy. In sweden we have 10 years of elementary school from when your 6 and up. I've recently graduated, and that means I'm not seeing that school I've been studying in for ten years anymore and not many of the people in it either. I was depressed for over 8 months because of some personal trouble in school that I just couldn't handle, when it got ripped away like that, I felt that I could breathe again.

Yeah, I agree with you 100%. It's pretty easy to pinpoint the stories that are rushed out just for the sake of being written. I'm a beta-reader, which is basically just one 'experienced' writer helping other writers improve their work, and some of the things I've seen has been horrendously boring. The stories that are just there for the sake of being there gives my mind such a beating, because it lacks depth and flavour. It's just your average Mary-Sue outshone Mr.Canon and fell in love with him and he fell for her for no apparent reason apart from author said it shall be done! LOL...you know. I'm very passionate about my work and about the craft of writing ^_^

LOL, that's not boosting your own ego. The best writers are often the ones who are humble and believe that they aren't that great at it...or so I've been told anyway. I wouldn't know how true that is though because my own writing is...highly immature. In prose, I mean. But anyway, I quote a lot of things from my own work that I think is hilarious or relatively entertaining. A lot of writers do the same thing, so there's absolutely nothing wrong with highlighting lines from your own work that you like/are proud of. LOL, look at this, your rambling is contagious because now I'm rambling too

Well, what I was going to add to it was a teleportation ability and the ability to slow/stop time during times of extreme stress.
