I'm still mulling things over, but something that is really bothering me is the continuous depiction of Dante. Between his cringe one-liner attempts in the teaser and now in this trailer referring to himself as a heartthrob and Agni/Rudra saying the "he's so cool" line - it's really rubbing me...
I'm still digesting my thoughts and will give a detailed response to the trailer later, but it is absolutely wild to me that Kevin Conroy is in this. Just goes to show how long ago they must have recorded the audio since he died back in 2022.
Someone offline said to me the other day that since JYB is voicing the main character, maybe it would have been better to just have had Nero be the protagonist. Thinking about it, adapting DMC4 instead of 3 would have been preferable to me as I was never enamored with the plot of 3 even with all...
Ah, so we've reached the popular "it's meant to be bad" defence before the product has even come out, that must be a new record. Perhaps someone should tell Shankar that if he wants people to respond more positively to his work, perhaps he should put the bits that are meant to be good in the...
Dante...what did they do to you? What was that cringe dialogue and the super nasally voice.
Also the animation looks a little strange and the music doesn't feel like it belongs.

I do think it was a huge missed opportunity not to have started the story with Nero getting the Devil Bringer. It was such a weird choice to have it only mentioned second hand as it is so pivotal to his character.
I have been watching the anime "DanDaDan" lately and I think it would have been...
I hadn't really thought about it until now, but man we made a lot of stop motion/clay motion animated shows over the years. Does your country have any interesting animation like that? Or were we just really fond of weird quirky shows?
So like, Marvel Comics had a brief stint where they published comic books for the British animated TV show "Count Duckula"...
Because Disney now own Marvel, does that mean we can see Duckula in Kingdom Hearts? It would be the height of comedy if Donald got lost and Sora and Goofy met Duckula...
