As much as I like the wacky WarioWare games, having three come out in the span of five or so years is getting a tad too much and I would love for them to break it up a bit by releasing a new Wario Land game.
It's been over a decade since the last Land game back on the Wii and now hopefully...
Unsurprisingly given my avatar, but I am playing more Wario - specifically the DS game "Wario: Master of Disguise".
Despite it lacking the name "Wario Land", MoD is basically an unofficial W.Land game as it retains many of the series' key elements, but also wacky touchscreen additions...
Hmm...a Hybrid whose Devil powers are uncontrollable and manifest in a berserker-esque state, getting stronger as he takes more damage and therefore more angry would certainly be an interesting choice - both in terms of narrative and trying to form a gameplay style around.
Could be interesting to have a tragic sleeper agent style character - someone who thinks they were a human and joined the resistance to fight off the demon invasion...only to have the realisation that he is in fact a creation of demons meant to infiltrate and destroy the resistance. Thus Nero...
Is it not already a reverse Isekai? Given that the setting is confirmed to be modern Tokyo and the FF characters are being summoned from their native worlds to defend Tokyo.

Having played through Wario Land 3 via the Nintendo Classics on NSO, I was intrigued to try out the other non-WarioWare games and so I bought a bunch of them second hand.
