You did ask her about going out together. Perhaps, if you do ask how she feels (about you, going out, about being more than just friends....) she may give you an honest answer (face 2 face)...

If you don't hear anything at all, she is probably too scared to say to you that she doesn't want to take your friendship beyond a friendship.
Perhaps it may take you talking to her again and asking her to be up front about whether she does wanna take things further. Just don't push her too much because you may lose that friendship alltogether.

Well, you know that you can't rush her. So the obvious thing to do is hang on in there. If you have to wait for her, it probably will take time. And if she does decide that she wants to be more than friends, then surely, it'll be worth the wait?
I know its terrible waiting for someone to decide about whether they want to be friends or more, but it means sooo much more if they do decide that they want to be closer (especially after some time). To girls, sometimes this decision does take some thought.
