that's how i did my current one. I found the pic, made it the size i wanted then just added text. that's how i do most of my sigs. I usualy don't get all fancy-shmancy with 'em, ecxept for this new one I'm making because I want to advertize my artistic skills to see if i can get more people to visit my deviantart page
I found the image and added the text, I'm soon going to have a sig i made completely on my own though. I just need to finish it up in photoshop, it's taking a little while since I'm figuring out how to use it by just playing with it more or less but I can give you an idea of what it will look like.
