You see, you could actually talk to them about it. Some people steer away from your opinion because they don't like the thought of it. Let them, it's just your opinion anyways. If someone blows off your opinion with clear responses that they don't like the thought of it then just back away. If someone bashes your opinion with wannabe-facts and idiotic comments towards you then give them living hell. Do not put a venting message on it, give them the damn hell and be over with it.

And... to be quite honest, if you actually read your vent about how a DMC game with Vergil or Sparda as the main would suck you can actually see the line where you actually contradict yourself. Because if it would be a DMC game with Vergil/Sparda as the main instead of DmC... yeah...

I'll toss the game out of the window not only for that. It's pretending to be someone it will never accomplish to be. The trailer is filled with stuff that feels not like DMC at all, the style of the town, the character's looks, his clothes, his slow style, the "torture" scenes, the smoking oh gawd the smokin, the music, the enemies (they move kind of like scarecrows, not much).

The game might be good, it might be great, it might be divine. But it'll still be sh*t to me because it's a game pretending to be something it isn't. And no matter how, this game will still stall any actual DMC games (if there even will be any) for a hefty amount of time.

No, of course not. It wasn't directed to anyone in particular, but still I'm one of those who wasn't anyone in particular.

You see... I'm going to tell you why I think DmC is ****:
It's not the DMC series.

That's it. It's not the DMC series. If it was a game of it's own, I would take it gladly. But this thing kills the whole friggin' series as I know it and replaces it with another person with another personality in a completely new reboot with some similarities of DMC.
