  Rage doesnt have any fancy FMV sequences and they would of had to use multiple discs if they didn't cut extra stuff from the game. Also...

  While the developers of the games you mentioned can work around it's limitation, it leaves ambitious games or those who really want to up the ante on their game to come up short. Its not just a Japanese developer complaint thing, many Western developers are complaining as well.
