    Ah well, I'm sure he won't mind - after all, better to be ranking up for quality posts than rank for simply saying lol...not that he ever did that, but at least this way he can be absolutely 100% certain of the rank he has achieved as being well-earned :D

    Yup, Karaoke is embarrassing. Unless you are in Japan, of course...

    The ranks are relative to post count - Steve is currently making a thread to explain it all but there are some which are hidden and have to be "unlocked", as it were...he wanted to make it a bit like ranking up through the army, so people can have new titles by their names other than just "member"...

    My kid wants to do X-Factor when she's older but it's not something I could do - I'm nothing amazing and my voice doesn't suit a hell of a lot of styles so singing the variety of songs they ask of you on that show would be impossible for me.

    I'm in a small band now and we sing at church on Sundays - I do the occasional wedding or celebratory event and, back in the days when I drank, karaoke if hammered enough to not feel self conscious :lol:

    Ooh, yeah - do Britain's Got Talent - that would be awesome :D

    Me? A dancer? Now that would be a sight :lol: Nah, I'm a singer - I managed to avoid being put in a girl band where you had to dance and crap because, let's face it, I have about as much rhythm as a one legged tone deaf mongoose. And I have no idea where the mongoose bit comes from :lol:

    Steve did all the hard work - I'm not allowed to touch anything to do with the site in that way but glad you like it :D :D

    Lucky you - nice bit of sun and sand would be perfect with all this crappy weather :D Yeah, I was in Thornbury with other musicians/singers/dancers for a little while and did some studio work in Bristol...it was a good time and if I could I'd do it again :D

    Ooh - i'm not a fan of shopping but I do like Cribbs Causeway. I spent a little while in Thornbury (which isn't far from Bristol, I believe) and seriously considered living there for a while but it kind of all fell through for one reason and another so I stayed where I was until I met Steve.
