And actually built up to it. Where DMC3's shadow battle thing just sort of happened... just because. But yeah, same thing.
Yeah... it was so obvious it hurt a bit.
I don't use the doppelganger much but every time I do I can usually pull off some really sweet looking combo. So I have like the opposite effect from you XD I have actually manage to do a Stomp and the double keeps juggling the enemy in the air, allowing me to go back up with a Solar Flare, then...
Best way to kill the Imprisoner so far I have found is to wait for an opening, Solar Flare it up in the air and then JC whatever to do as much damage as possible before he touches the ground. I have actually been able to kill the Imprisoner before he could go into "rage mode" with the stones...
There is a balance you gotta get. If you JC Killer Bee too much, on some smaller enemies, Vergil will just kick over them eventually. You can combine your Killer Bee hits with Orbit because Orbit actually slightly brings Vergil down. That's what I basically do in this video if you pay close...
I said Dante, simply 'cus his gameplay is a lot deeper. Slower, but deeper nevertheless. Vergil is kinda too easy to use and can be a bit frustrating with the swords instead of guns, since they are a bit slower and there is no lock on.
I do like the fact that Vergil's DT does not increase his...
It could be a lot of things... but it is most-likely a place that holds Vergil's inner Nephilim powers, like Dante's held the DT. And boy, did he get it.
The only difference is that Vergil's mind was kinda screwed up by what was happening around him, feeling inferior to Dante, thinking that...
Yeah, I know about the Blistering Swords. My usually strategy against Witches is take down their shields using that and then use the Spiral Swords which works kinda like the Aquila to hold her place while I use Divorce.... but this strategy seems kinda slow and it doesn't work very well when you...
Vergil's Downfall has been a hell for me. I cannot get the Wisp enemies attack patterns and the Witches are annoying as hell too, since you can only break her shield with summoned swords... which makes no sense to me D:
No problem. But yeah, don't be too aggressive against this guy. Only be...
lol I did that on purpose :3
Though you can get a much better looking finish if you kill him with Drive because Vergil just stays in the air in slow mo and slams down at the end with Stomp. If one thing Vergil is got over Dante, is good looking finishers.
I made a quick video showing how to beat HV on VMD mode without taking damage (or too much damage). This boss fight can be a bit of a pain, especially in HAH mode... but I believe in HAH mode it is around the same level as in SOS. So it should be easier (as long as you don't get hit more than...
They definitely should, but more importantly, they definitely can. I feel like they held back sooooo much in this game, gameplay wise or difficulty overall. They could have even added like air stinger inputs... like Nero's calibur in DMC4, they could have somewhat gotten rid of some of those air...
I said maybe because Platinum games tend to be too over-the-top... and I mean WAAAYYY too over the top. DMC has a more... say, mysterious feeling to it... like you're playing a horror game, except it's action. It only gets freaky and crazy at the last stages in DMC games. But you never have...
Ah, could have been because I'm used to DMC4's JCing and positioning at this point, as well as the speed, that DmC just seems a lot more annoying for me. But yeah, you're right.
I never pre-ordered the limited edition, I pre-ordered the regular game and still got the skin for the weapons package and Vergil's Downfall DLC...
Really? Well, we shall see soon then.
