2014 and 2015 in Gaming.

I just came from watching The Game Awards and it sucked so much dick and swallowed so much ass I wanted to punch my monitor, there was nothing good about it at all, not 1 single thing, it was all garbage, just like the current state of gaming.
The announced games were garbage, the awards were crap and the entire show was boring as hell.

But anyway it's still that time of the year where we list our favorite games of the year, worst games of the year and the games we're looking forward to most next year.

I'll start, but since 2014 was a crap year for gaming and 90% of the games this year weren't interesting at all, I don't have a Top 10 list or even a Top 5 list, just a Top 3 list.​

3rd Best Game of 2014:

This game was better than I thought it would be, not the best FPS in years(that goes to Blood Dragon), but still something refreshing, the dual wielding every weapon in the game and insane Nazi killing just made it a hell of a fun ride.
GET HYPED!!!

2nd Best Game of 2014:

Easily the game the franchise deserves, such a fantastic survival horror game that nails the tension, nails the atmosphere and delivers thrilling gameplay with it's amazing Alien AI.
The sad part is we may never get an Aliens game that can top this.

MY GAME OF THE YEAR:

NO CONTEST!!
This game was insane, fast, challenging, and just awesome fun with fantastic music(I still listen to Moon River everyday) and Bayo herself is still just as badass as she was in the first game, I bought a WiiU just for Bayo 2 and do not regret it.
Again the only sad part is that future action games probably won't be able to top this.

So yeah 2014 was a rather crap year for gaming even though it had 3 fantastic gems among all the garbage.

2015 however seems to be looking pretty good.

I was disappointed in the Game Awards as well.
I was really hoping for Bayonetta 2 to win game of the year - I was extremely disappointed.
At least she was nominated.

I've yet to play Alien Isolation, though. I'm a huge fan of the movies (except the AvP ones).

The Witcher 2 was a mediocre RPG (only a bit better than Fable III), so I'm not exactly excited about The Witcher 3.

After people complained about Halo 4's gameplay (apparently because it was deeper and allowed for more customization than previous Halos), they appear to have dumbed down Halo 5, so that's probably a missed opportunity as well.

The Division might be good, but I haven't really kept up to speed about it. The trailer was melodramatic, as I recall. Star Wars Battlefront... no idea; it's been so long I've lost interest, but I think it looked pretty decent a while ago.

Not into Uncharted or Just Cause.
The only games I'm *really* looking forward to for 2015 are MGS V and MK X.

Seriously, that title was actually worse than *pfft* Phantom Pain.

Also, there's the matter of The Evil Within -- P.T. won out in every possible category, and that game was a demo, for crying out loud. I expected nothing from TEW, and that's exactly what I got.

I admit to being a little bit too naive thinking that Ground Zeroes would be a little more than what it was. As for Lords of Shadow 2, I didn't hate it, just thought it could have been better.

And Watch Dogs was one of the stupidest pieces of sh!t I've played in a while. I hated hated HATED that game.

LOL. I was just too enamored with the setting and the fact that you were fighting against illegal spying (by doing some of your own sure, but still) to be concerned with its flaws...

So, why did you hate it exactly? I'm actually at a loss. Was it the characters? It was the characters, wasn't it?
