Let's rock, baby!
How would you see Trish return in DmC? Since she's based on Beatrice.

Dante and Kat = together
Dante and Trish = brother and sister instead
 
Here is a few ideas-

I would just use kat as the source material for Trish by having this demon or angel possess her and unfortunately their souls are melded so one can't be separated without killing the other.

another one is having Trish being a orphaned angel raised by Demons

another is having Trish be a relative of Eva.
 
Have her as a full demon with her trademark blonde hair ,make her hot and have dante beat her in a fight and she will join him becoming his partner and his woman. Kat is more like a sister character
 
the basic concept (copy of Eva working for an enemy of Dante, ends up siding with Dante) should probably be the same. the details should be mostly different. maybe Trish could be a demon that was created to infiltrate the angels to spy on them and ended up siding with them instead and when the angels inevitably cause trouble Dante and Trish will meet, things happen, and then Dante has a new ally.
 
trish is this mysterious woman who is using dante to get to vergil. she wants to kill vergil for revenge or whatever. she sleeps with dante and eventually the two fall in love. however, once they get to vergil, she is revealed to be a spy for vergil and has lead dante into a trap because she is of vergil's creation (terminator salvation style like marcus and skynet). in the end trish sacrifices herself to save dante and dies. dante kills vergil and dante quits devil hunting
 
What a bloody joke of a thread.

How is it a return when your taking a character from original serie, and you suggest changing her, and placing her into a reboot.
Instead of doing what i and others discuessed in this thread.
I get it though, to validate the reboot that some of you want to replace original serie you love to make reboot look like the main serie or sucessor of the original.

And to do that, you all want known characters from original. Which is a bloody insult for fans who dont want the reboot, but original serie to be built upon.
Trish in reboot, would not be Trish. It would simply be a different character, and therefor it would not be "Trish's return".
I dont see a bloody thread for how to reboot Mater, Lucia's mother.
This is another thread made by reboot fans, where they need to relay on original characters that "didnt have much going for them", to sell or validate the reboot.

It's bloody hostile attitude that you suggest rebooting a character instead of improving it from it's original serie. Trish has the potential to become a better character. She's not a bad character either...

Are you even fans...? Because what fan suggests changing a character that is perfectly fine, but just needs to have her own game to developed her character further?
If your not a fan of Trish, and you suggest rebooting her because of reasons i mentioned above.
Then no wonder hated for reboot is so strong.
Infact i bet if there was many characters, only the famous ones would be suggested to be rebooted. While the other characters, Matier (as an example), noone would suggest to reboot because they arent very important to Devil May cry.

I made this thread, not a single out of 80 person viewing the thread posted in it.
As a fan of the character, it ****es me off that i have to see threads like this suggesting to reboot Trish when her character can be improved in original serie.
Its insulting when someone says "not much going for her in original serie".

If i called NTDante for Dino or emo Dante, you all would be annoyed as fork. So why are you intentionally suggesting to reboot a character...
Why?
I sure as hell dont think many of you are big fans of Trish, if you were...maybe at least one person would have posted in "Trish-ness" thread before this post of mine.

we're all fans here. its just that you and some others are conservative and others are more open to other interpretations. besides, i feel like trish was going nowhere in DMC and that she was only added into DMC4 for fan service. DmC's characters and story have built up momentum for another story to be told. and i feel like the DmC characters have been written better than their classic counterparts. they feel like real people and not op gods that are without flaw.

Didn't give a damn, I want Trish to remain a sexy 10 and a badass, not a average 5 and weakling like Kat, same goes for Lady.

Devil May Cry is in a spot where it needs to stop giving a f**k about it's story and just focus on gameplay, in Devil May Cry the gameplay is primary while story, graphics, writing and s**t are secondary.
That's pretty much how all action games should be.

in this day and age where people are competing with story based games like spider-man, deadpool, bioshock etc. DMC is gonna have to keep up. the gameplay may not be AS in depth as the others but its still enjoyable.
 
Well if you want Trish to be a clone of Eva then I would say she has to sell me on it.

She cant just have her look and her voice, she has to make us believe that she actually is Eva by telling us things that only Eva would know.

those memories are the greatest weapon she has, not the guns or the lightning bolts.

DMC doesn't have to do s**t with it's story, it needs to focus on it's gameplay. Otherwise it can just die.
