It's sales speak otherwise as a new and better done game was pretty much a given at that point and it was wanted, instead we got the actual murderer no one wanted called DmC.

If sales were the case, DMC2 wouldn't be the top selling DMC game now would it? And for someone who doesn't care about DMC being murdered, you sure can't seem to let it go.

Well that's entirely subjective, just like how I think Trish is attractive, it's subjective, but Trish will be fact ugly and also boring if she's in DmC.

Since when was DMC4 story focused? And last time I checked, it didn't fail commercially.
Cheesy anime love fest trying to be pushed into the narrative but failing at it? Yeah, that's a focus on story. Also, if DMC4 was a commercial success, why the need for a reboot? I think I have the answer; its because DMC was getting sale, and Capcom was losing their style.

I know it's not as expensive as all focus on story, graphics and voice actors. Which is what DmC focused on and failed.

Your point chancey is right. Trish was not much in dmc1, but she wasn't a piece of meat either like she was in dmc4.
But unlike you i want to see the character become something, while you on other hand seem reluctant towards a scenario like that.

Considering Capcom's writing skill, I'd rather see what NT can do instead of looking at more vagina power from Trish and her alter ego.

Nope I don't like DmC Eva, she's a 6 or 7 at best, if Trish is put into DmC and based off her, I'll hate her. If Trish is redesigned to one of those girls you posted earlier, especially the first one, I'll have nothing to say. She'll look sexy. But I know she won't be. So again, leave Trish out of DmC.

DMC has lost it's style completely with DmC, Capcom could have gone with DMC5 and fix all the problems DMC4 had, but instead they had to make s**tloads more with DmC.

And i rather see a dmc fan who has talent and passion to make a good story for Trish through a spin off than the character to be rebooted by a overrated company.
Last of US = Sold 3.4M in three weeks.
Dmc = sold 1.1m in 3-4 months.
Trust me, if the story was very good or as excellent as people praise NT for...it would have sold alot.
Especially with all attention the game got from the controversy.

But whatever dude. Keep thinking "NT is the only way", while i will hope that someday if a Trish spin off is made, it will have a passionate dmc fan writing the story.
A fan that will see the potential of the character and build upon instead of changing it throguh rebooting.

I never said anything about DMC1, but I do say that what DMC4 did with the female characters was disgusting. Kyrie was the only subtle one, but even then she was dull.

Well the core of Trish's character she is a manufactured demon made in the image of Dante's mother in order to be used as a weapon against him.

whether she be an angel or demon both sides would want a way to fight Dante and i feel both sides are sneaky enough to do so.

On the demon side she could be an attempt at cloning Eva by Mundus to use against the remaining 3 (Dante/Vergil/Sparda) but didn't get very far because Dante killed him. The lab was abandoned and she was left in stasis till Dante runs across her stasis pod in a abandoned lab/factory

Dante and Kat try to give her a home and teach her to be more than what she is and for a while they succeed but then complications arise as she was "programmed" with mental commands to react to specific suggestions so the big bad uses that against Dante and Kat.

What if Vergil found her a few years ago after Limbo was merged? Later he and Arkham use her to manipulate Dante and reach to the heavens to conquer both heaven and hell?
