because he's actually played the game, how do you know how much effort it takes if YOU AREN'T PLAYING IT, that's completely uncredible when you're watching a video, anyone can say "this looks so easy anyone can do it" and then you ask them to and they say **** like, "OH I CAN'T RECORD, BECAUSE NO SMARTPHONE HAS TV QUALITY VIDEO CAMERA THESE DAYS"
I played the demo several times on Nephilim. It was **** easy.

so playing two levels makes you a pro at everything in the game? didn't know playing an unfinished build makes you a pro at the game, especially since you automatically know how to fight enemies you've never seen

I've gotten SSS in the demo & it's was easy to do, just spam the axe add a few attacks & repeat.
The style meter only drops if you get hit.

80 people out of 100 that's played the demo has gotten SSS, there's boat loads of videos showing how.

So with very little practice SSS ranking is easily achieved.

SSS ranking on Son Of Sparda difficulty.
you do realize that the demo is a 9 month old build right? the one used for capcom captivate -_- like i said, he used that attack on bob barbas six times in a row and it didn't go past A, they obviously fixed it while they were polishing the game

That's good then cause that demo was ridiculously easily.
I mean seriously after all the videos on how to get SSS ranking, i'm not surprised they did change it.
yeah, they actually worked their asses off to the point that they delayed the game just so they could polish it as much as possible, they finished it in january and devoted all their time to polishing, (and probably the dlc went in full production)

Where did I claim I was pro? I just stated the demo was **** easy, plus, it's not an unfinished build. It's part of the fullgame. Calm down.

Eh...so is DMC3SE on Normal, though.
Atleast DMC3SE was more fun and challenging than DmC Nephilim.

its not part of the full game, because the full game is different, has different encounters and has more polish and weapon balancing, BOB BARBAS.ARBITER SIX TIMES.ONLY A RANK, in other words, they fixed most of the issues, plus, nephilim mode is classic devil hunter difficulty, which isn't hard at all, human and devil hunter are accessible modes for a wider audience while anything above is for the dmc fanboys

Still doesn't fix the **** easy combat.

That's good because the demo there was alot of stuff that needed fixing.
The Ai was one.
Non-boss enemies weren't threatening or aggressive.
The enemies acted like they didn't wanna be in the game & just wanted to go home lol.
The jump cancel was to easily exploitable.
And a lock-on is needed.
Unfortunaly, all those problems are still in the full game.

-A.I. gets more agressive depending on how the player is doing
-chainsaw demons aren't threatening to you?
-i don't even understand that one, only demons i felt bad killing were the babies because i pulled them in and used arbiter
-too easy exploitable, it shouldn't take weeks of practice to get basic jump canceling down
-no lock on because itsuno as supervising director liked the new control scheme too much and told NT to keep it out :ermm: he also was the one who decided on not using styles

I don't know... This guy is playing on the hardest difficult and he is breezing through it. The worst part about it is that its his first time playing the game. His friend unlocked the other difficulties and he started on the hardest mode.

Sorry to say but. This conversation is just plain ridiculous.
Any game can be easy if the demo of the game has been released two months ago, and so is a game that was released years ago.
If you are talking the difficulties of a game that requires 7 years to pass (which is in the guiness book) Then I understand your problems.

Nope.

The control scheme without a lock-on system it was more Dynasty Warriors the DevilMayCry. Your blindly swinging away at random targets & groups of enemies instead of focusing & following up on attacks on a single target.
That's fine when facing hordes but against a single target or a boss it's annoying because your spending time turning & re-adjusting yourself instead of being locked on.

But the thing is just because itsuno likes it without a lock-on system doesn't mean everyone else does & he should've left it in giving the gamers the option to use it or not.
-there is no place in the controls for lock on, and they believe it limits gameplay and variety its not annoying if you are able to ADJUST TO SOMETHING DIFFERENT
-hideki kamiya also doesn't like lock on, its becoming an outdated feature in hack and slash games according to the pioneers, its just the way it works, its not the game or NT's fault
-and no your not swinging at random targets, watch?v=ltN-tPXyM3E a video like this wouldn't be possible if the soft lock wasn't extremely well done and polished

They're using two buttons for dodging. Surely lock-on could fit there?

But amazing modern hack and slash games like Bayonetta and DMC4 had it.

You just linked a Bayonetta video. A game with lock-on.

It's just a matter of adjusting without lock-on. Pro-players out there will show everyone how it's done. :shifty:
