Ok. Just the same I'll mark it:

SPOILERS:
There is a part in the game where Vergil is driving with Kat after the prisoner exchange and the city is falling apart. As they are driving they are constantly about to crash into something so Dante slows down time so he can remove obstacles from their pat.

Absolutely freakin' HILARIOUS. Seriously. I've seen better-behaved toddlers.

And the reports this morning? Even better - my personal favourite simply came with the comment "prick". And I think that fits perfectly with some of the last 39 pages, don't you guys?

But here's the thing - I'm keeping it open for the time being seeing as some of our more sensible, mature and decent members have tried to pick up the thread to a level above abysmal. However, two things worth noting:

1) STOP making everything personal. It's not even that hard. Give it a go.
2) Nero - if you can't say anything nice, it's probably best you don't bother talking AT ALL. Almost every report this morning was to do with your unnecessary and unpleasant comments.

I'm going to alter the thread title a little to make it clearer that it's chock-full of spoilers and would ask, yet again, that when making threads containing spoilers, PLEASE indicate as such within the title itself. Again, it's not hard.

So either bring this back to standard or let it die a natural death. But the first person to continue trolling/flaming in this thread will get an instant temp-ban. And I do not CARE why you felt the need to troll/flame/reply to previous taunting, just know that you've had ample warning right here not to bother.

Aaaaaaand carry on.
 
Not watched it - I can hardly preach about not clicking on spoilers you don't want to see and then do it myself now, can I ? ;)

As much as I'm not a Devil May Cry fan, I still want to see the ending as part of the game proper, not just in a link on a forum. We probably won't be getting the game for some time in our house - firstly we'll be getting it for PC anyway which isn't until nearer the end of the month and then it's the good old finance situation which dictates our gaming priority sadly :(

For an admin you sure fail at reading comprehension don't you? Everybody made up a long time ago get over yourself and I'll enjoy the ban not a big deal.

They could have Vergil become Nelo and some cliche anime story about a brothers revenge. I'd need to play the full game in order to really give an idea for a continuation.

Maybe it'll take plot points from DMC3, with Arkham and Lady? By then you'd kind of get why Dante and Vergil don't get along and the search for Sparda's power could come into play, and their necklaces o.o

I don't know what would happen to Kat though (likely she and Dante would've stuck together rather than go seperate ways. Sieghart could be right too, they get close afterwards) but I keep thinking of Kat as Kenny from South Park, worrying if and when she'll die.

Great, now the ending's just made me think of...XD

On a serious note, perhaps DmC2 might be about Dante making plans on starting up the Devil May Cry too :3

That might work, but weren't the amulets a key to sealing the underworld? Sparda's backstory is different now. Do the Amulet's even hold power or are they just for sentimental value?
