Have you seen the glitches in MGSR?

Metal Gear Glitching

Its the price to pay for having an action game run on 30 fps. That was back when it was MGS:R now its MGR:R being made by Platinum Games using their Platinum Engine that runs on 60 fps.......it won't glitch now.

Unreal Engine 3........like seriously why did NT retard selfs chose that generic and mainstream engine they could've easily used the engine they used for Heavenly Sword or something?

If I'm not mistaken Heavenly Sword ran on Unreal Engine.

That's correct, but it's also true that the " twin brothers seperated by goal" had been done pretty well in the original DMC series, yet was criticized. Yet now that NT is doing it in DmC, it's getting hit with love.
Are you sure? From what I've seen, people loved DMC3's story. DMC4's...not so much.

Because if they used MT framework, the game wouldn't look as clear and detailed as it is now. Plus Unreal Engine just runs on 30fps so that the environment could mix and change up.

Man I gotta love glitches, not that I've had them in DMC 1-4 (mostly in 3 and 4).
If that does not happen way to often, then it's nothing to write home about I think.

I NEVER liked the way Dante and Vergil's brotherly life was. It was an Inuyasha rip off and it was cheap. After Vergil fell, Dante was sad for a few seconds and was back to "Party time" mode right after more demons showed up.

If NT is as good as story tellers as I've heard and seen from Enslaved, then may they improve that part of DMC.

No one can be entirely sure whether or not there will be glitches in MGR:R. No engine is 100% glitch free. Also, why did you have to call the guys at NT retards for using UE3? UE3 is a widely used because it's a GOOD engine. The licensing fees aren't sky high and it's easy use. Arkham City and Borderlands2 uses UE3 and they look amazing.

AC and Boderlands2 looks amazing because the engine was heavily modified to suit the style and animations of the game! I think NT also must have tweaked the engine because the animations and environment looks great now!

DmC current engine:

DmC 2 engine.

Dude the first trailer is only for demonstration and showcase on UE3! I don't think current gen console can handle that much detailed graphics in real time yet(except FF series engine)! And how did you know that DmC2 will be developed using UE4? Are 100% sure? Has there been official announcement on the UE4 release date? Has Capcom already announced it?

This is really not enough reason imo

DMC4 looks way more clear than DmC, less detailed, alright, but they should go the Platinum way, GAMEPLAY COMES FIRST!

They harmed the gameplay with half the fps just so they can have the environment changing when it does nothing for the gameplay? That's really, REALLY stupid.

Also, they stated more than once that the Malice concept came during development, so they chose Unreal Engine BEFORE they decided the environments would change, that's just bullshit, they're using UE3 because it's all they know how to use (and even not that well, Enslaved had some serious performance issues).

I really like the reboot, but I'd like it so much more if they just hired Ninja Theory for the art and story department and handled the actual game themselves... Itsuno directing DmC with Neo_G's help on the combat, using MT Framework and running @ 60fps would be amazing.

I think the combat in this game will probably be the best among western combat games, but if anyone thinks it will live up to DMC3 and 4, they better get back to reality before they get really disappointed. I'll enjoy the game for what it is, but the engine was a seriously stupid decision.

That engine and all the tech they developed for that game is licensed under Sony since it was developed for them under an exclusive contract. They can't use that tech for a multi-platform game.

Also, frame-rate has nothing to do with glitches.

Look at these DMC 4 glitches...

Also this one:

I also saw one for DMC 1 when you're out of bullets...

Those are PC glitches that the player intentionally caused.

Plus DMC glitches were never a problem as they could actually be beneficial like remember DMC3's infinite Doppleganger DT gauge glitch which is much better than landing on a platform and still fall for no reason.

Good glitches: Can be beneficial even if cheap and is activated intentionally

Bad Glitches: Not beneficial, can break the game, activated unintentionally, can be a pain, and cause serious issue

BS.....they can easily do that with any engine, Bayonetta had moving environments and platforms even DMC3 had occasions of moving environments. Have you not seen MGR:R that game has crumbling buildings and environments and insane environmental changing physics on same level of DmC and it doesn't run on UE3 or 30 fps but 60 fps is also very detailed and clear.

IMO.....The Unreal Engine 3 is just an overhyped mainstream engine that is no better than most other engines. Plus Capcom improved the MT framework engine from what it was in DMC4. UE3 works well for 3rd/1st person shooters and was in fact made for those type of games not every game is perfect for the UE3.

People really need to stop saying that Inuyasha had any influence on DMC. Just because there are similareties doesn't mean that it is the source. It just really grinds my gears.

Actually maybe not for DMC(1) but when they decided to have a manga writer write the story for DMC games the writing seemed to have been influenced heavy by anime.

The writer or maybe it was the producer who said that he was a fan of Bleach and that was an inspiration for DMC4 and its quite evident based on how you see it. As for Inuyasha=DMC3........there is a lot of similarities even stuff outside Dante & Vergil = Inuyasha & Sesshomaru that are similar. However, you might have a point since even DmC has some Inuyasha references to it like how Inuyasha's hair would turn black to signify his lack of demon powers and it would be white to signify his demon powers are in full effect just like DmC Dante and due to NT or Tameem being so high and mighty about Western writing VS Japanese writing it seems unlikely those hypocrites would go on their own word and take an idea from a Japanese anime. It sounds like I'm saying they did but I don't think NT actually even payed attention to Inuyasha but who knows maybe they did, maybe white hair signifying demonic bloodline is a common thing already.
