If anything, this movie should be about the ORIGINAL DMC AND STAR Reuben Langdon, I mean really, Capcom turned their back on poor Reuben and now he is out of a job he loved. It's actually sad to me. Sure he said the game was "dope"
But really, it seems like he only said that to get fans off of NT's back.

IMHO, He has every right to call Capcom a putrid pile of dogsh*t, for rebooting a series that he enjoyed doing WITHOUT EVEN FINISHING IT! Plus the new Dante's voice cracks WAY too much

Sigh, poor Ruben.
I'm interested in the DmC game but I can't still even believe that they are making a movie of a game...that isn't released yet.
Isn't it just easier to make a movie from a game that has 4 releases and history?
More I can't believe is that they are releasing the PV with the resident evil movie...It's a really bad omen.

Reuben isn't out of a job...he still does motion capture work for Capcom as Chris Redfield and other stuff. Capcom didn't turn his back on him, NT just didn't hire him because he lived in America and NT were in England so they had use actors who were easily available to them...unless if Reuben wanted to move to England for a good 2-3 years. Capcom has no jurisdiction of who NT casts so Capcom had nothing to do with Tim Phillips being casted over Reuben Langdon.

Reuben said the game was great and everything DMC was and more, and only wished he was asked to be in it. I doubt Reuben cares what they do with DMC cause Reuben have other Capcom projects like Street Fighter.

Reuben's aloud to like a game.

Though it is sad that Reuben no longer can do what he loves to do; being Dante.

Honestly you're starting to sound like a mad fanboy right now, sooo...yeah.

By the way, are we 100% sure this is based on the reboot? Cause honestly whether Original or reboot, I have a feeling this movie will fail.

I think it's because they go so far off with the stories of the games they are trying to make into movies.
Street fighter movie was nothing like the game.
Resident Evil series was nothing like the game.
Capcom needs to capitalize on what people like in the games that can be brought over into film, instead of just going with something completely different.
So with a Devil May Cry movie, Capcom should capture the crazy over the top action sequences, as well as good CGI demons and effects, maybe even make it a little scary like the original Devil May Cry game and maybe JUST MAYBE a Devil May Cry movie would be a success.

I just hope for the over the top attacks that Dante does, will be more natural to do. Like stinger, Million stab, aerial rave, and just a lot of other attacks. Especially prop shredder.

He is allowed to like the game. I agree. I just feel that the picture, his expression didn't really seem honest.

And yes, I am a brony.
 
If the movie were based off this new DmC, it would be really interesting to see how they take elements from the story we know so far. (to be honest I'm personally hoping it's based off this) It would be interesting to see them use a realistic feel to it and create the same satires on pop culture that this DmC's doing showing demonic influence. And of course they could also take other elements from the original DMC series that could create a really engaging story. That's just my two cents. (Please no arguments relating to my post, I'm already paranoid about posting after the last time I gave my opinion on something that wasn't meant to start a small fan war lol)

I wouldn't mind if either both Reuben or Tim starring in the role...Just. Don't. Pick. Anyone that looks pretty but are untalented (Hayden is a good example).
